So I just started harvesting my second grow and was wondering what what the best thing to do with the trimmings are? I’ve head of making hash or rosin and all this other stuff but I don’t really understand what the difference in any of it is. Looking for a low cost simple way to get high from the trimmings other than edibles. So far I have harvested one of three plants and three the wet trimmings in a bag and put in the freezer, any help would be appreciated

When I started I bagged and froze just about everything. After a couple harvests I asked what the hell do I need a bunch of fan leaves for. They have no trichomes, is loaded with chlorophyll so it tastes like fresh mowed grass. Thru it all out.
Now all I save are trichomes collected while dry trimming before curing and the sugar leaves. I cure the sugar leaves separately from the buds.
A jar of kief - maybe roll out into hash, who knows. It is sealed and stored in refrigerator.
The sugar leaves will be good for concentrates or carding over screens to collect the trichomes.

That’s pretty much all I have is smaller buds and sugar leaves, I didn’t dry them before putting them in bags and freezing them, should I take them out to dry before trying sifting it over a screen for keef?

It needs to be dried first. I know when I tossed the bags of fan leaves, it looked more like frozen spinach when thawed.
So get you a “trim bin” scrub all your trimmings over the screen and collect the trics on the bottom. Get a “pollen press” and make pucks and heat in an oven @220 for 20 minutes. Voila HASH!.

I’ve got that same keef press and it’s great. I bake it as well but wrap parchment paper then a moist paper towel wrapped in foil for about 8 minutes. I’ll do this several times and re-pressing in between. Nothing like a good bong rip of the keef hash

Been smoking some of the blueberry pucks i just harvested a couple months ago and it will smack ya if you dont pay attention. LOL

There’s several great threads on making extracts and budder. One person showed making a stir fry. I like to use my bunnies to compost it to feed back into my plants.

Since I haven’t decarbed what I’m feeding them it’s just compost. I have no idea what high bunnies would be like and after hearing dogs eating decarbed weed horror stories I don’t want to find out!

Buy some bubble hash bags.
Go to the store and buy some ice, make some bubble hash, higher quality than kief, but you will yeild less.
