What size grow bags do you use outdoors?

I won’t argue that bigger is better, if you can manage them. Mine have needed to be relocated due to extreme heat 3x in the past 30days… that’s a lot of weight to drag around, and I’ve only got 3 going ritenao.
What I’ve learned is even with replanting my 5s as deep as possible into 10s, and adding moisture retaining soil (Recipe420) to fill the space…. I’m watering daily still, and gallons per plant. I don’t know if larger pots would do much to help with that, I do know that roots would spread farther, so there are more tubes to deliver water to the plant, but don’t know if the larger container holds more water, and disperses to over a longer time, or not.

I understand completely, that is without a doubt a lot of weight if you ever have to move them. I have had to move all of mine this year to be compliant with regulations. This is the first year i dedicated to just growing in the 30 gallon fiber pots, needless to say all my complaints were good ones, i wasn’t even a little bit ready for this. Good luck, I hope you find a place someday where you can start and finish without moving them.

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated on their progress. My daughter is 5’3”. These are Maui Wowie, Grandaddy Purple (16wk), and California Dream (12wk) photoperiod. They all started forming pistils last week.
