So I put a humidifier in there a fan on the top of one of the containers to have some sort of Ari flow n I changed each container n just add a leiter of cal mag to each just a few hours ago. I’m pretty sure it’s just heat issue mostly n not rlly any deficiencies tho it might be both! Could I top the one that looks worst off n hope it grow or just let it be or should I just take her out?!? I appreciate any n all replies n advice!!!
I’m brand new to growing so take my assumption with a grain of salt… I think it’s either heat damage or wind damage seeing that it’s at the top. It could be because the humidity is too low relative to what the temperature is.
Also looks like nute burn. Idk lol just trying be helpful
Yes I believe it is as well this is my first grow as well lol! Thank you for you reply tho!!!
Hello @Dbolin32 looks like you have your hands full. I could throw SWAG at you but,…
Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so; Or post
NA (non applicable)
-What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)
-Age of plant
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Type and capacity of container (fabric, plastic, etc)
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
-Method used to measure PH and TDS
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
-Temps; Day, Night
-Humidity; Day, Night
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
-Co2; Yes, No
If growing Hydro some additional questions:
-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution

Idk the strain I got the seeds from a at n just decided to plant them.
Hydroponically ig would be the best to say lol there in three 5 gallon grey plastic containers. The phs n ecc of each container is 6.63ph 1380ec , 6.62ph 852 ec, and 6.26ph 868ec I don’t have any ph down n I just haven’t looked into how to do it without it cause I rather them thug it out n I get actual ph down. I use a ph n ppm made by vivosun.
Indoor in a 2x4 grow tent
This is the light I have on them
Idk the actual wattage or them day or night temperatures or humidity
I have a ventilation system but no venting on it
I just put a humidifier in there a day ago
DWC ?!? As stated in the 5 gallon containers with about each half full n abt a 1-3 from the water on each of them maybe a 1-2 more on once cause I didn’t transfer it in time
681 ppm on the first one, 856 on the 2nd, and 870 on the last
Thank you for taking your time to reply I appreciate it!!!
If you’re doing hydro your pH is way too high. 5.8-6.0 in veg. 6.0-6.2 in flower.
Unless you’re growing with living, organic soil, it is hard for plants to “thug it out” with improper pH. It’s essential for nutrient intake as most of the vital nutrients needed are only available in these ranges.
What can I use to bring the ph down till I can get some ph down?!?
You need to have air bubblers running on each bucket 24/7. Also you need to have an active air ventilation fan sucking fresh air into the tent with open vents on the top for hot air to vent out to the outside. If you can afford to add a carbon charcoal air scrubber to remove some stank. You can always get a filter rated merv 14 or higher with active charcoal and McIver a solution.
To lower your pH you should use Food Grade Phosphoric Acid : This is commonly used in food and beverages, making it a safe and effective choice for hydroponics. [You can find it at various online retailers and hydroponic supply stores] General Hydroponics pH down .37 per oz. Brings the pH down and adds some Phosphate to your bucket.
Thank you for the reply and the advice!!! I plan on getting air bubblelers for all three containers when I get the ph down this coming week I would get it now but I can’t! N the same with the ventilation system!! I’m not worried abt smell tbh ass long as it won’t stank up the whole neighborhood from inside then it won’t be a problem lol
Without bubbler’s your running a fool’s gambit.
Here’s a bit of information for the Kratky Hydropontic method.
I have a water pump that I was using n switching between the three every couple hrs but I plan on getting bubblers for them all as soon as possible!!!
I would use 2) 4” air stones per bucket Growmie….those roots need oxygen
Okay I will get those as soon as I’m able! I knew I should’ve gotten them earlier in the growing stage but it didn’t seem to rlly effect until they went into flower lol
That’s not gonna work with DWC unless your setting up a shared reservoir and your circulating water around all buckets then return back to reservoir.
What you need is an air pump with air stones creating bubbles in each bucket.
I have two separate air pumps with two separate air lines going to each bucket. Two lines with two air stones on each bucket. Creates a redundant supply of air lines to each bucket. Air is crucial to not only plant growth but to keep the bad anaerobic microbes from attacking the roots system. You’ll see slime and brown roots afterward.
Air pump……
Air Stones
Tubing (Black Silicone)for connection Use Black to prevent light induced algae in your lines.
One more Expert tip, use Hydroguard to prevent Bad Microbes and super charge your root zone!
Thank you!!! I have an air pump otw but I’m not sure it it’ll be here in time!
Change the water out daily until you get your pump. Get temps low by adding a cup of ice to each bucket. Heat diluted O2 cold will retain O2 much longer.
Thank you I will do that!!!
So I have a air pump n the lil thingys from them but it won’t be here till Wednesday n my hygrometer I plan on changing there water and adding ice here inna few as suggested but should I cut my losses with some of them?!? Ik I’ve been a terrible caretaker of these plants don’t give me too much hell lol I’m not sure what to do for them until. I’ve thought abt transplanting to soil but I fear it might be to late for that
Hey I hate to bother but if you wouldn’t mind to give you time n opinions when you get the chance I please and thank you!!
