Re-pot the leggy ones and bury them to their necks for support and strength.
Dome time over, they need light
Focus on the basics
Hey @Bryanvilla23 lots of options so if you can tell us what your working with its will help narrow our chatter at ya.
There’s lots of general information you can read over and decide the method that you want to use.
Start with this one.
these are new growers they are not going to buy all that wquipment for useless readings, I learned by looking at the plants and been doing it for over 40 years now, techhnically I never needed any of that, you’re trying to make othem out to be priofessional growers as tyo selling, you better watch it, you vcan be picked and raided , seen it thrioughout the years reading these foruims through THCFarmerGrasscity here etc.
Management of these parameters is very important, particularly for new growers. Let’s keep the dialogue friendly and respectful, please.
You are doing a disservice to new growers as they haven’t developed the chops to read plants. Sure; talking to me or say @MidwestGuy we’ve got years of experience to inform what we do with our plants. But you gotta start somewhere.
I’ve said this before: you can run a race car on regular gas but are losing much of the performance. Some of that applies to high-end cannabis.
I’m going to leave your post up but suggest (strongly) that you maintain a respectful tone in your posts. This is not THC Farmer.
not really, all you are doing is coonfusing them, do you really think someone new is going to spend hundreds of dollars on equipment? you won’t be using, I seen so many start then the forums becomes a desert
people will have top develop their own ways, it’s not a copycat game where you can do what 1 is doing and expect the same, I’m an old school grower, I remember when WE were the ones dominating , now you chased them out, I heard it already from those on YT
Hi, I’m a new grower and I’ve spent about $2000 because I’m committed to getting it right.
I do really good with my non cannabis plants so i do understand “feeling” your plant but all plants have different requirements and I’m still learning cannabis.
I can tell you how to grow an 8 foot sunflower, or pumpkins, Blackberries and even orchids but I’m learning cannabis and these forums and all that have helped me have been great.
@Myfriendis410 shots fired at THCFarmer
Couldnt agree more with you though
Dont know who this guy is either but you don’t hop on telling people how to operate, especially when its our show lol. (Dude hasnt even offered a like to someone yet lol)
ILGM all the way
If one cannot spend the equivalent of an ounce of weed on proper equipment to maximize plant health, and therefore maximal yield, then one shouldn’t be growing. You may as well keep buying weed off the street, as you aren’t likely to have productive grows.
Are quality lights for indoors useless equipment?
Is a PH and TDS meter a useless piece of equipment?
How about a timer? Humidifier in a dry climate or the opposite? Do you consider a new grower wanting to do hydroponic growing an idiot?
Sure; you don’t need elaborate tools to grow weed. Old school growers may not use tools to the extent of new growers but that’s because it’s what they know.
If you say so but haven’t seen it. We have a good, respectful group here that does provide a resource for new growers. What is wrong with that?
you ought to look up old growers on YT and listen to them, i been growing for years now just personal and NEVER BNEED ANY OF THAT THINGS THEY MENTIONED, I TRIED BEFORE YEARS AGO, AND IT DOESN’T WORK , YOU MENTIONED IT IN THE FORUMS AND THE FORUMS BECAME AN DESERT NO ONE MENTIONED A THING , GET IT?
We do our best to be helpful for new growers. Your commentary is neither helpful nor productive. We have had a number of growers who got off to a rough start as you have and then became good contributors. I suggest you join them and become a productive contributor. If you cannot be reasonable and continue to be intent on being combative, then I suggest you stick with Rollitup or THC Farmer where your behavior will be more welcomed. Such behavior is not welcomed here.
I understannd what you’re doing this is a “Commercial Forums” I understand to sell yoiur products but it’s not a becessity
@anon71922202
Please refrain from the negative attitude. It’s not welcome here, if it continues with out adjustment, you may need a time out.
Helpful posts are welcomed. Negative ones are not.
Have a great day.
Started growing in 1970’s.
I was lucky and did well growing (sometimes).
Just seed, soil, and HPS-1000Watts.
USU college classes helped, if I could remember.
Paroled in 2021 (Retirement?)
Want to grow better than before.
Spending the money for the equipment to support all phases of growing and learning. Don’t want to rely on luck.
Spent $$ twice or three times, for upgrades or replacements.
Forum reading and guidance is priceless for learning faster and better weed
growing. Never had an inventory of curing weed, like now.
Getting the parameters correct is more than luck.
LSS, for any grower IMO, read more and experiment to support learning.
Everybody’s equipment, budget, expectations, and knowledge are going to vary… Just the way it goes…
There’s no sense in being judgemental about a fellow grower and how they’re handling their runs… we’re all here to learn from one another and share our experiences. Most importantly we’re here because we like to grow
It’s not a competition.
Whats going on with my gdp auto(first grow)
Using coco coir, a top dress of soil because I didn’t have enough coir. Medium has 444 and fox farm big bloom and fast acting iron with sulfur and calcium. The lights are two spider farmer sf2000 at about 40% intensity about 2 feet away. Also used mycorrhizae and worm castings.
