What security do you have?

I grow outdoors, and kinda far from the house, in the woods. Now we are getting close to harvest, and I am concerned someone just walk through the woods and takes my plants. Looked into some wired and wireless security cameras, but it’s too far and lots of trees on the way. Just looking for some recommendations and ideas on how else I can keep strangers away. Thanks, I appreciate it

Deer cameras at least give you an idea who was there

Not sure cameras would keep anyone away. You’d just get to watch them steal your stuff. Is this on your property?

Yes, it is on my property, and I can not see through the window or anything like that, I would have to put a tent out there or something, maybe

Right, the only thing if they are wearing masks to cover faces

If it’s your property then maybe just some solar power motion spotlights.

Something that makes noise, right? I probably wont hear it at the house, but that should scare them away

I’ve used tripwire devices that fire shotgun shell primers they’re about as loud as a firecracker. They’re made to scare animals, people are animals right

I had a bear issue a couple of years ago, didn’t follow through with it, but I did find a motion activated alarm or horn that was supposed to scare the bear away. Maybe you could hear it from your house?

Lol, had a bear issue last year on my hives. She tasted real good and still giving us dinners. Most important, my girls are safe for now.

My issue was with a mother with 2 of the cutest cubs… I just didn’t want them in my yard.

Cubs make it a harder shot for sure👍
But you did right.

This brand works good too.
I have 3 set up around the property. 1/2 mile range is by line of sight but I do get really good range.

How about a driveway alarm? Those sensors are supposed to reach several hundred feet I believe. Might not scare away a thief, but at least you’d be aware and could loose the hounds on them or whatever action you decide to take.
