These seedlings are about 9 days old, I keep the temp from 68-77F humidity ~72, and they have a viparspectra xs1500 pro at 25% at 12 inches. They are in fox farms light warrior and watered with 5.8-6.2 ph water every other day or so. I noticed this coloring a couple days ago but it has seemed to gotten lighter
no pics to help assess but 9 days old do not need water. pH should be 6.2-6.8 and temps and RH should both be as close to 80 as possible for the first 2 weeks. If you presoak the solo cup and place them in a dome with a heat mat, other than misting the inside of the dome, you should not need to give them any water. Based on what you said on watering, I would think you are killing them. Prolly damping them off.
This one didn’t get any water from me for 2 weeks. Soil was damp to begin with and kept the RH at 80 for 2 weeks.
Not too bad. I would simply place a clear dome over her and mist it and not the soil. In another week or so, she should be ready for a transplant. The light green should darken up if my assessment is/was correct.
I have a humidifier, I can ramp it up so they wont need a dome, will that work?
If you can get it up to 80% it will help. You do not need to buy a dome. You can use a clear solo or half of a 2 liter or something like that.
My humidifier goes from 0-100 lol, the difference of one setting is 66->86%, I’ve got it on a lil ai mode and it keeps it around 73
I cut water bottles in half and cut holes for ventilation, mist the plant and the inside of the water bottle twice a day
