I’m skipping forward to next spring.
I’ve used the fox farms trio for two years now.
I also have a soil amendment that I use + compost.
Is there another better product out there for my plants.

i think most are the same outside of the name on the bottle, some are easier to apply then others. I see a good amount of people on here that use the fox farm trio but I believe the most popular is Jacks.
I use the same General Hydroponics nutrients both indoor and out. The only difference is i need to use less nutrients less often outside because my plants are right in the ground.
I also use less nutrients outside.
I was told by a neighbor who is a plant Dr.
To always plant on a Mound.
I’ve had two plants get root rot.
Before the advice or after the advice?
He had told me a couple of weeks ago.
Never plant with the soil sloping towards the plant stalk.
He is correct in that you don’t want water pooling around the stem of plants, but this has just as much to do with porosity of soil and watering habits.
Good morning, you saying my soil composition and watering had something to do with the rot.
My soil is my compost and a bunch of amendments. I used pearlite as well.
The watering may have been due to the high volume of rain we’ve had.
I would like to plant them all near each other next year or in a couple of places.
So I can cover them with a easy up if I need to
Not me, just explaining why your freind suggested not having soil slope to plant stems.
