What numbers does everyone keep for vpd during flower

So I finally got the humidity under control in my flower tent. Now I can actually get everything in Range for vpd. It seems like to get a 1.2/1.3 I have to keep the room cooler. 70 degrees at 55 rh gets a 1.3 vpd. Is this a good setting for early flower? What numbers are everyone running? Thanks y’all , hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. I know I am!

@BigCat420 @Outlaw @HappyHydroGrower @Cap_Ron what numbers do you all run?

I’ve never really paid attention to VPD, though I probably should. I keep it simple and shoot for 60% in veg and 40% in flower, and don’t get too bent out of shape if it varies some. RH is particularly important during flower when you need to keep RH low to avoid mold.

Being old and forgetful I needed something easy to remember. In general, 0.4-0.8 seedling, 0.8-1.2 in veg, and 1.2-1.6 in flower.

I use those as targets, but find them hard to maintain having three tents spread around the house.

I like this interactive VPD chart. You can adjust it depending on what stage your plants are in, and your exact ambient air and leaf temperature.

Is this chart no good then?

They are all about the same…that is the one I use however. The Excel sheet you can download from Pulse, so you can edit it custom to your situ.

I have my tent stable at 75 temp , 70 when the lights are off and 50rh. Are these good numbers ? Or do you suggest I change them?

What are your thoughts ?

Hell yeah @Cap_Ron . That site is awesome. How do you get lead temps though ?

*leaf not lead

What’s everyone think about my settings on my flower tent right now . 50 rh ., 75 temps , 70 during lights off

That vpd chart says I would get a 1.49 but I don’t know if that’s accurate because I don’t know how to get leaf temps.

Whoever is interested this is an awesome vpd chart and it gave me the same numbers.

Little easier to read in my opinion than all the other ones. At least I was able to find tbe numbers quickly and not have to follow to many lines across.

I keep my flower tent around 68 night temps and 75 day temps. Hovers around 73 for the most part and my humidity bounces from 50-65% rh. Humidity doesn’t really concern me if i have proper airflow. My veg tent i keep 70-78 and typically hovers around 78 day temps and 70 night temps. For humidity i turn a small levoit dehumidifier in and let it run nonstop to keep my rh 60-68%. I typically stay in the 60-64% rh range tho. I used to go off VPD charts but quit worrying about it a while back

An infared thermometer gives perfect leaf temps!

You never noticed a notable difference in sticking to the ranges on the charts ?

I just want to grow that gas. You know the stuff you get from the dispensary that looks like a piece of art. I love fantastic weed, jungle boys, connected, etc. they all go off vpd so I figured that might be what it takes to grow top shelf weed. I know genetics has alot to do with it if not most.
