If you have not much money during the crisis going on buy a cfl bulbs they will start your green thumb experiences

I live in a area with only 5000 people so we don’t have grow shops places to get your potting mixes we literally have to make a lot of our own equipment so we can grow at least most stores have cfl we only have a ace store here in town that’s it and that doesn’t give you much options to go from we have no choice but to go to cfl
Check craigslist. Sometimes you can find people selling lights.
Or facebook marketplace if you are on facebook.
CFLs are good for seedlings and that’s about it. You might be able to manage your way through early veg with bigger florescent lights.

@MidwestGuy alright fixpower a cfl bulb won’t make my plant bud though is that right
The light don’t have strong enough power to make it bud though
I can get through a couple of weeks of vegg stage but I would have to get a stronger light to make it bud or even to get it to 
You will need to get a proper light if you want to get anything off of her.
That plant is four months started January 1
It’s bushy but not big at all it’s 8 inches tall now

You can grow marijuana just fine under CFL. You won’t grow any giants, but they will produce healthy buds. The main issues are - you will need a lot of them and will have to create your own fixture to hold the bulbs. You will also want 2 complete sets of bulbs - 5500-6500K for the vegetative stage and 2700-3200K for the flowering stage. If you check some of the larger sites like icmag and rollitup you will find lots of information on CFL grows. In fact, rollitup has a section dedicated to CFL.

Making a fixture is easy with some inexpensive parts from the hardware store and a little bit of imagination. Just as an example, here is the top to my homemade space bucket from when I first got started. Now I use it to get young seedlings going.
On one of the big forums, there was a guy who made his own big CFL fixture to light up his whole tent.
