I regularly achieve better than a dry gram per watt with whatever cheap lighting I’ve used. I do use quantum’s LEDs , hps and my fav t5. It’s a 2-3 times per day trip to touch your girls but it’s a reward in the end. Hang the lights watch it attend it and you’ll get a gram or less per watt. Take care of her and do what I call HST high stress training. That’s right things like snapping branches ,twisting stems ,smashing the cell structure of a stem end to end ,splitting stems early at 2wks training at 10 days. I even snapped a Gelato in 3 places on main stem and super glued her back how I wanted her to grow. Yep that’s right superglued her back together lol. I’m experimenting with orb stuff all the time and I’ve found a way to achieve what everyone says can’t be done. Now I may plls someone or a few ppl off by these claims but I assure you if you do what exactly what I’ve done it will give you awesome results from CFLs. Be prepared to work at it and closely with the plants and I’ll get you there
I’m not sure you should be telling people they can get a 2 gram per watt off of a couple cfl lights… or at least not the way you wrote the post…first off, you didn’t state how many cfls you use, the color temp or the draw of them. You didn’t explain any of the HST techniques other than snapping and using super glue. I’m not trying to be rude, but spitting out claims of hard data that someone can get 2 gram/watt off cfl is something I’ve never seen done. One gram/watt from cfls seem like a stretch to me… @dbrn32 what do you think here?.. 
No I didn’t and I didn’t include a lot of things. I wanted curiosity to build if enough or even one person asks me how I’ll put up every process on that I have done to achieve it. Look at my threads they should speak for themselves CFLs in every photo. I got 14z from one plant and 8 from another off using 11 40w CFLs supporting both plants. That was my very first grow with ams seed I’ve achieved better 3 yrs later. For instance I got 12 ozs from a critical Kush auto speed bud 55-60 days seed to harvest. Breeder said it may be possible to get 2-4 ozs. Plant a garden let it grow you’ll get what you put not it. If you want to know I’ll show you how but it is possible and I do it regularly

Ok where are you at on your grow ? Show me pics ? Idgas what light your using I’ll show you how to get more from it. The only reason I started this thread was to prove I do it and it can be done. I’m also growing weary of the constant “NO WAY” attitude I’ve recieved from a few and being a dad and gpa it compels me to prove it. My GCrack will give me a lb and it’s under 5 43watt CFLs a 24watt spot I have 3 led spots between it and the Trainwreck which I’ve topped 6 times lol and it’s under 7 43w CFLs
I believe @Zsitchin I have done many experiments over the years and I’ve also did a sog grow using cfls and 6 inch pots and soil and had 16 two foot colas…
I know it can be done… I’ve done it… 
What you have to understand , is that you need a little common sense and dedication and injunewity to pull this off…

Lmao ??? all I know is I use surgical grade superglue basically the same as store bought superglue. Both have ingredients recognized by both human and plant material so you do absolutely no harm and the plant has little or no recovery time and can concentrate on producing what it’s known for
You got a lot of experiments in play @Zsitchin this 40w CFL thing, Pineapples under blurples, Qboards, and HPS… Where you got all this stuff?

I don’t believe I’ve seen anyone post a journal from seed to harvest that was over a gram per watt from cfl’s. I know we can fluff those numbers a little running low intensity over large space, but seems like a lot of people shy away from that due to lack of density.

Cutting main stem has me thinking. I get to overthinking on a regular basis. So if I use a razor to cut part way into main stem, it is going to heal there with the widened stem when healed?
