I’ve seen it on just about all my strains! It’s not allot of it! Usually 1 top on the plant! Send to grow out of it but it’s been happening for a few weeks now! I have 15 different strains just about all of them have had a top do this!

This type of coloring is common among some strains, though it typically doesn’t show until later in flowering.

I guess my biggest concern is the growth looks wonky! Looks like it’s been eaten but it hasn’t

Looks like herbicide drift.

I see the same thing every year doesn’t matter the strain. Typically only affects one branch and it’s leaves/flowers.

Haven’t experienced that yet. Plants look great though.

Take some cuttings for clones Growmie, you could have a nice plant expressing some cool Pheno colors in that one :love_you_gesture:

I am taking care of a buddy’s plants and they have it.

Just the top bud…it has grown a few nodes and the purple stays on top

BTW: they are clones of mine and my plants are not showing this trait. This is a Gold Leaf.

Blowing up the pic it doesnt look like any kind of discoloration it looks like clumps or little piles of bug droppings looks like some type of poo from some type of bug. Look under and around all your leaves youll likely find it. Meantime if youre not opposed i would get some neem oil and capn jacke ded bug and alternate applications. Im also a fan of seven dust before flowering starts.

They have been getting captain jacks every three days and peroxide on the top node every other day. It clumped up when I tried to rub it off. It is only on the newest node.

Idont grow a lot outside but last two years before this summer i had something that looked like that. Its frustrating right. Keep looking for bugs. Maybe use eye loup. Thats crap from something. I dont think its a fungus so not sure about the peroxide. Some bugs are immune to jacks. Thats why i suggested neem. Or get ladybugs. Aphids arent bothered by jacks unless you drown them in it. What region are you in. Im west of st louis and caterpillars leave that crap behind. Maybe its a night time bug check at night and see. We have guineas now and they patrol all platns and get everybug. I hope you find out the issue if so tag me id like to know how it works out.
