@Edmond-Dantes Looks like it kicked its covers off. 
Just re bury the tap root up to the leaves and it should be good in a couple days.

I’ve had to straighten out a seedling before. Stand her up and tie it to a stick for a crutch until she gets her self together.

The above pic… I was on the jiffy wagon when I started. Caused me a couple months of my life… no to jiffy
The netting is hard for the roots to grow through. They can get root bound.

So if i take off the netting and just use the peat to give the seed a start, is it ok?

Yes, but be careful and dont break the root.
