im not really sure what this could be. I suspect like a mosquito hopefully but I want to get your guys advice and if I need to do any major treatment right away

looks like a mosquito to me like you thought and I’m not seeing any damage to your plant in fact she looks really well 
Thanks I just wanted to be sure. I didn’t want to kill it at first so I would swat it away but it kept going to the bud so I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a problem. Thank you

Check and make sure its not laying eggs under the leaves

I guess it would depend on where in the world they actually are I’m by far no expert on bugs but it looks like a mozzy to me granted it’s size is a bit on the large size even still I’d do an inspection of the plant and most likely I’d of killed the bug just to stay on the safe side of things
Crane flies don’t look to different from that but what’s puzzling me is the fact it kept going back to the plant
I’d neem oil the plant every week anyway, just as s preventative. You’ll need to make your own decision, of course. Neem is SOP for my plants.
Looks like a mosquito hawk. They pray on mosquitoes. It won’t hurt or help your plant but there may be a few less mosquitoes around.

Any idea what this is? Just found 2 very close to each other. Notice what appears to be barbs.
