So if the recommended amount of flora nutes donāt get me to the proper ppm then should I add more nutes in the right ratio to get to that ppm?
I use distilled water because my tap water is local SUD well water with pH 8.5 and nearly 600ppmā¦straight from the tap. Yes, you read that right.
Actually, ppm is the other way. It is ppt x 1000 so it was 1300ish

Ah yes, I had the conversion backwards and moved the decimal the wrong direction. Sorry, donāt see ppt here often. So your Ppm is good. Now you saying you use distilled makes me point in that direction. I used distilled when I first started and had similar issues. Seemed the distilled was leaching nutrients from the plants. Switched to RO and the issues stopped.

The nearest RO supply is quite a ways away.
I tried tap water, used 1/2 recommended amounts of flora nutes and pH down to 6.1ā¦there was a lot of buffer in that tap water. Ppm was 1030. Iāll see how that works.
