What Autopot system should I get?

Planning for second grow. I have a 1meter by 1 meter tent. I want to try the Autopot system. There are different size pots, etc. Little mini greenhouse tops? Different tubing sizes. I sure like autoflowers. But I would like to try a Photoperiod. I wish they made a 5 pot square system with one in the middle. I think I can fit that many in my tent. What say you? Just an old dog trying to learn a new trick.

I have a hydroponic setup that is made by active aqua. AC infinity has a good self watering system. There are also others that don’t use electricity and I’m going to get one of those for vegetables. I’ll find the name and get back to you asap.

I’ve just hooked my autopot up for it’s maiden run. I have a 4x4 tent and got the 4-pot version, not the XL with larger pots. Was $50 cheaper. If I want to put in a 5th plant, I can hand water like I used to for that one plant, and if things “fit” well, I can always buy another single autopot and hook it in line. Rather than spending the $50 on a single and finding out it doesn’t fit.
I also got the air-domes and an air pump. I would have gotten the air base but they were out where I got mine so using inch or so of large chunk perlite and then filled up with ProMix.
Will say, the 3 I have in there now are growing at the fastest I’ve had any plants grow!

I have several auto pot systems and recommend the Spring pot line. The fabric pot stays exposed allowing root pruning. The older set ups use plastic pots. The spring pot tray will accommodate a 3 or 5 gallon fabric pot.

New spring pot with a 3 gallon fabric vessel

Older set up with 3.4 gallon plastic pot

So is the spring pot tray something Autopot offers? Did you plant both pictures at the same time?

I think you are referring to ”Geopot” in their line.

5 autopots in a 1 meter by 1 meter tent will be too much! 4 photo seeds will be pushing it too. If you go for four, I would flip early.
You could fill that area with 1 photo period plant in a autopot

Any hydro system will make your plants grow so big so fast they get out of control. This was my first grow in hydroponic setting and it was super skunk. The yield tripled per plant. This was a auto.I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about watering or nutrients. I just change my water reservoir every 7-10 days. Oh I forgot to mention 8 plants drank 35 gallons or more per week

I’m talking autoflower fems. I do believe I could only do one photoperiod in my 40in x 40 in.

However, I’m thinking of ditching the tent completely and putting in a dedicated little 4’ x 5’ dedicated grow utility room in a corner of the garage where the tent now resides. But that would also mean another light because the SpiderFarmer SF 4000 I have is too small. But I do want to hide the tent so two walls are going up anyway(grandkids). This would provide conditioned air because the duct work is just on the other side of the wall. 3’ of duct and I got heat and air. So I don’t know. It’s just the wife and I.

Keep the tent, teach the kids it’s good! Grow photos, autos are less good! But keep going, whatever you choose will be good and you can always change it next time!
