Hey everyone question on my super skunk plant. Its 8 weeks into flower. Very weird bud structure. It almost looks like the buds are growing new branches/ weird branchy buds? Its looked like this for a few weeks. I did find a full grown seed in the plant last week too. Haven’t found any other seeds as of yet. My other two plants look great but different strains. Is this normal look for super skunk? Hermaphrodite? Something else? Thankss

Looks like heavy foxtailing to me. Means it’s stressed. Doesn’t like something. Most of the time it’s because the light is to intense. I think heat causes it on some strains. Do a search for foxtailing causes and see if it fits any of your conditions.

Yeah , I agree with other members Fox tailing you can turn the lights wattage down a little will help The 2nd half of flowering time.

Doing some quick research on foxtailing it says one cause can be genetics. Wonder if thats the case because i saw a post from someone a yr ago growing the same strain and said they had the same thing. Also had bad luck with the seeds only 2/10 germinated. Luckily got a different strain with the coupon ilgm gave me. I don’t think its heat or light stress the other 2 plants i have in there have nice solid bud structure and dense buds and are different strains.

Every plant is different. Heat or light stress can affect one plant and not the others.

I just got done growing and harvesting super skunk from ILGM and mine was the same way I did have a few tops kinda close to the lights but not as bad as you would think and also all the buds that weren’t close to the light did the same thing I also have one outdoor and it as well looks the same but I also ordered og kush from ILGM and so far I’m very satisfied I have 4 outdoor and two inside and man they stink so good heck the ones inside are photos still veggin and smell like there fully loaded with bud

Spicy mix pack? I got the og kush too got one going in the tent with the superskunk. The og kush has super hard rocks on it even lower on the branches super happy with that strain.
Man you’ve got me all excited that og kush seems like it ain’t no joke I knew a guy that grew some years ago and it was absolutely fire 
and boy I fell in love with it well where I live it wasn’t legal yet so growing was pretty sketchy and now it’s legal and I can’t find that strain anywhere in any dispensary around where I live so I said f it I’m growing my own lol

I’ll share a couple of pics of the OG kush I have in week 6 of 12/12. It’s not ILGM. Man does it smell good. I figure 4 more weeks at least.

How is your superskunk I’m just wondering I still have a bunch of seeds it was buy 10 get 10 free from ILGM freaking badass lol and just wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with them

man I hope mine do as good as yours could you take a look at mine and tell me if I need to be doing anything different right now I use the ff trio and I’m going by the first weeks of the feeding schedule but I cut the strength in half I ph the water around 6.6 and ppm going in around 700 or less I need to water and get some runoff numbers but I transplanted into the bags you see about 2 to 3 weeks ago and just in the last week started feeding
I think your good. That first pic looks real good. I quit using the trio, and now I just use happy frog, mixed with fox farm fruit and flower, perlite, and worm castings, then top dress once a month with the same. And biothrive bloom when I water. Keeps it all organic.

Awesome man I really appreciate it I’ve seen a lot of your posts on here and feel like you know your stuff. All of your info is much appreciated. I have just enough of the trio for one more run but then plan on going the route you recommended there

I like it because it’s cheap, and easy. I use the fruit and flower 4-9-3. No flushing the salts out, and all of that.

Yeah I’m not a big fan of having a salt back up like what I experienced in my first grow it almost killed my ladies because I wasn’t familiar with what was going on thanks to all the good people here they help save my crop but now I have the right flushing stuff and actually read there instructions lol hopefully I won’t make the same mistake I’ve read a lot of people go the way you had mentioned and I’m all about the cheep and easy
