Anone got an idea wat might be doing this i have searched for pests but can’t find any so im ot real sure wat it is. Could it be deformation from growing to fast maybe? Or something living in the coco coir and coming out at night? They are outdoors.

That looks like caterpillar or grasshopper/locust damage to me.

That’s my first thought too.

Mate i would delete it if I could even find the other post . The only reason I put it up again was because I couldn’t find the original one anywhere and didn’t think it posted. Sorry about that

@myfriendis410 thanks for that mate, sorry for the double up.
Regarding the plant issue I have had a pretty good look and cant find any caterpillars or grasshoppers or anything that could be eating the leaves its doing my head in . I just sprayed the plant with tobacco juice mixed with a little dish soap so hopefully wat ever it was is dead now. My other plant has had 1 spot eaten but thats it the other plant has heaps of ladybugs living in it and they have keep all the bugs away . Its really got me stumped.

Ladybugs are there for a reason. My outdoor treatment alternating between spinosad and BTh: both benign to human bacteria that are lethal to different pests. Captain Jack’s Deadbug Brew is one and Safer Caterpillar Killer the other.

But the best treatment is to keep pests off the plants. I used plant fabric screens which affects plants not at all but keeps bugs off.

That is a good idea. Yeah the ladybugs do a great job . I’ll see how the tobacco juice goes hopefully it has killed off watever it was.
Im just gonna have to stop being lazy and go out a few times throughout the night and see wat is eating it. . Its not eating enough to cause an issue yet. But I definitely dont want it to get to that point .

Looks like it could be slug damage That could be why you couldn’t find anything. They dont stay on the plant they come out at night chew your shit up then crawl back to the ground before daylight then wait for night to crawl back up the plant again.

Yeah @plumbdand could be right! If its slugs its an easy fix. Sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the rim of the pot. Repeat after wartering

Morton curing salt around pot bottoms works also, and ones you do see Ammonia and water mix melts them like the wicked witch of the west damn fast.

Yeah I had slugs at the start used coffee grounds to get rid of em. But this time there is no slime trail or anything. Its really doing my head in
