I was rushing and watered my girls before I left. I prepped the nutes 4 days earlier and it ph’d perfect at 6.3. Then comes today, I had a little left in the feeding bottle and ph’d. It read 7.1, I know I screwed up, but want to fix it before the problems begin or get worse. Ai am very nervous about flushing, but if that what it takes please advise.

I am also noticing that some leaves are curving.
Coco loco isn’t coco and should be treated as soil ph-wise. The biggest concern at the moment is the 7500ppm runoff. You shouldn’t be feeding anything with runoff that high. How long have you been feeding? From what I can see of the plant it doesn’t look bad, maybe a slight nitro tox.

So the the 7500 ppm was an old post. That was before I knew not to measure loco runoff according to fox farm. I have been feeding a quarter dose. Up til yesterday when it was a full dose. I was worried about the nox tox, I dont want it to get worse. I was also assuming being that its growing white hairs. So I thought maybe giving it grow is why it changed. Here they are 2 days ago.
Do you recommend I flush or will just giving some lower ph’d water would help with the tox?
Not sure what you mean by lower ph’d water. You should be giving it water @6.5ph. Also not sure what you mean about not measuring runoff according to fox farm. Can you fill me in on that?
So I reached out to FF about my runoff readings. An they stated they don not recommend measuring the runoff because of the added amendments. Just measure what’s going in. I have pretty much been doing that til i used the 4 day old mix. What i meant was since the old mix ph was 7.1, would putting 6.2 water in immediate help balance the water from last night and to stop any further lock out. Or if o needed an overall flush. Is the slight N tox something I should see goes away on its own?
BTW appreciate you taking the time. Your good with me.
One feed out of optimal range won’t hurt anything. Stay the course but I would water only until those ppms come way down. Adding nutrients that are immediately available to plants along with the soils nutrients that are breaking down into available nutrients will be overload for your plants.
Fair enough. I went wrong in the beginning thinking coco loco was coco versus being a soil. I don’t plan on using it again to much guess work to what’s in it. Hoping they are better in the morning. I did for get to mention that I sprayed them with neem oil this morning before lights off. Hopefully that doesnt have any adverse effects.
They’re not flowering so the neem oil should be fine. The main concern is still the real high ppm runoff. It can take a week or two to show effects due to some of that ppm hasn’t been broken down into available nutrients for the plant. When it does, the combined uptake from that and the available nutrients you provided could burn the plants. What nutrient line were you adding?
Just remember that the EC number is not the same as the PPM number and depending on your meter it could be a PPM of 400 in and 3250 out if the meter is using the Hanna .5 standard. In other words EC is the baseline and the meter can convert that to a PPM number if that meter uses the conversion for example where EC of 1000 is equivalent to a PPM of 500. There are 3 types of EC to PPM meter conversion formulas depending on your meter.
When I used to check my TDS I used the EC setting as that did not rely on the meter doing calculations to convert to PPM.
Got it. I have 2 ph meters to double check my measurements, I need to do the same with my TDS meter. I recently noticed it was giving a different water temp than one of the ph meters. This morning they do not look worse so glad I didnt flush. When I water tomorrow it will be straight water an hydraguard which I use every watering.
