Depends on what you’re looking to do. People keep mother plants for years. If you’re planning to ever flower the plant you will want to consider things like lighting and space for a plant that will be huge

I would recommend one year maximum, and then replace with fresh genetics.

Agree with above. Keep in mind these plants can double in size first few weeks of flower.
