That looks like a nice one @Aussie_autos the one i have is a hands free and it’s a hassle getting those close up shots.
@Aussie_autos I have a similar one. The biggest issue I have is trying to keep it still enough to get a good look. It does the job though without question. I keep going back the jewelers loupe because I can get a better look.
I have a new one looks a lot like yours.
What I like is the ability to use with Linux laptop and capture pictures without touching the camera. Keeps it from distorting or moving the camera. Oh yeah it was recommended by Nebula Haze website as microscope they liked.
The biggest thing i have a problem with is shaking hands but the my last microscope it was to hard to hold the phone and microscope all at once
I have those shaking hands too ![]()
These will make that not matter so much if you take a chip off the bud flex the arm as close as possible focus then take the photo it will work. The main reason I choose my microscope was I could use my laptop mouse to actually take the photo.
I even guess using a small camera tripod and the flex part, I could even get photos without taking that small chip off the bud. Again, I will be using a Linux based laptop to capture the photo not a phone my hands shake way to much for phone and camera usage.
Have you tried your scope yet at all?
Still waiting for it to arrive
Mine is similar cost me 80 bucks but has a hand held controller for taking pics so u don’t have to shake the scope. And on the pic u posted of the microscope why’s it look like they have a motherboard on the box they r scoping but appears to be leaf veins in the zoomed in pic. Lol. Strait up pointing at all black chip spot but looks like a leaf. Lol.
