What’s going on here in your opinion?
Living soil 10 gal pot, clones from photo seeds.
I spray cal mag almost weekly and or add epsom salt,top- feed with Gaia 4-4-4 every few weeks
good growth…what’s up growmie
I don’t see any issues.
Hey! Just never seen the edges get yellowed like that before. I know I’ve had cal mag problems before and just wanted to nip this lil problem in the bud before it gets worse. Probably just over reaction but you know, an Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of weed!
I grow with Gaia as well, and also noticed magnesium deficiencies over several grows. Saw in another thread that Gaia doesn’t have mag in the 444 or 284, but never really confirmed that.
What I did do was grab some Gaia glacial rock dust and scratched and watered that in recently. And followed up with some Basalt rock dust from Gaia today to make sure I have enough calcium through the finish.
I use recharge almost every watering so hopefully that can break it down fast enough to matter. I really want that pretty fade.
I’ve been spraying cal mag on the leaves, I wonder if it’s better to add it to the watering??
I’ve never actually foliar sprayed my plants, too afraid of potential PM issues. I have a bottle of cal-mag that is supposed to be organic, but last time I tried to use it was on an ILGM goldleaf that I though was calcium deficient but the cal-mag seemed to accelerate whatever issue I was actually having, likely a PH issue in hindsight.
I used the different types of rock dust because I also plan to add that to my initial soil mix along with the Gaia Green 4-4-4 and worm castings. So I wanted something that I wasn’t just going to use here and there to correct deficiencies. I’d rather not have them in the first place where possible. So I guess it depends on what product you plan on adding.
Add 1-1.2 grams of Epsom salt to your feeding routine Grow Bro
This ^^^^ stop foliar feeding. ( my opinion only)
Every watering? I’m watering about every day since it’s been 90+ degrees lately!
Never mind now I see “feeding”
