Magnesium problem?

Hi fellow growers. I believe I’m in the midst of a magnesium deficiency. Is that just a cal mag fix or?? I don’t have any so I’d have to order. Is there any other remedies.

Looking good @Mr67 . You can use a pinch of epsom salts to a gallon of water to help with the magnesium. For Calcium you can use gypsum.

Overall I think your plants look, you can use a full dose of Cal-Mag on water day if you choose definitely will not hurt anything.
Welcome to the community good luck !

This was yesterday and the yellowing has moved up about halfway through the plant as of today at lunch

Are you feeding at all ?

@kellydans @ChittyChittyBangin
My concern is the yellowing started last week. The pic is yesterday and as of lunch today it’s moved halfway up the plant

Do you know your runoff ppms or ph? Ph water going in? What week of flower are you in? Are you feeding any nutrients? What type of medium? Do you know you humidity levels and temps? We need to figure out of you are having a ph problem and/or in lockout or if it is a true deficiency. We would love to help, but need to dig a little deeper.

@ChittyChittyBangin
6.5 ish going in. Haven’t measured runoff yet.
That particular plant is in about week 3 of flower.
Sohum living soil. Top amending worm castings and 284 bloom from Gaia green.
Humidity 50-60rh
Temp70-80f
20/4 lights
Autos
My theory is the nutes ran out in the living soil.
I have a few other plants planted the same day and they are about a week from harvest and looking good.
This girl and her sister are late but much bigger.
Not enough nutes for the whole grow. Which I knew would be possible. Just need to know what to give them

A lot of good bloom nute products . Start with about a half dose followed up with checking PPM run off. You still have several weeks to finish up might be a good choice to start feeding a bit.
Good luck

What size pots are you growing in? 5 gal is good for about 30 to 45 days. 15 to 20 will carry you full term.

Yes they are in 5 gal pots @ChittyChittyBangin

@ChittyChittyBangin i did give them some worm castings and some 284 last night. Obviously it’s a slow release so I guess I do have a bit of a waiting game regardless. But if I need to get something else going I sure can

@Mr67 looking very good man! I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it. It could be early flower fade or it could be hungry for cal mag after stretch. I see you top dressed some 2-8-4 from Gaia, good to see another grower using the same nutrient as I!!
If you can definitely let them grow a few more weeks! They will bulk and ripen!! You will get twice the weight and twice the quality if you run another 3-4 weeks.
If you have any questions regarding Gaia green feel free to ask! I’m here to help brother!

@Autos-only yep they just went through a big stretch. Biggest plant in the tent.
I don’t have any cal mag so I’ll get some coming

@Mr67 I wouldn’t even worry about it. No need to order anything. gaia 284 has 16% calcium and will break down pretty quick.

Just feed about a week sooner next run. If you have a picture of the size of the plant last week, feed based off of that size. Try not to get time frame involved, timeframes are for commercial grows. You’re better than that and with a little dialing in you will know exactly how to read your girls and what they are asking for!
You’re gonna have an amazing harves

@Autos-only thanks man. I’ve learned a lot this first grow. And yes I agree. It’s all about reading the plants. And I’ve learned they are all a little different.

They are all a little different @Mr67. For example i have 3 Grandaddy Purps and 2 Durban Poisions that LOVE humidity and water… Then i have a Zskittlez that prefers a little less humidity and water… i had to seperate that one today…

@Mr67 I’v been brainstorming something’s I have failed at to give you some input with Gaia green. One being what works best for me is 3tbs per 5 gallon, I tried the 5-6 and was to much! Sometimes less is more.
Never water to runoff, never check PPM in soil, coco yes! Coco and soil are very very different and cannot be treated the same.
Organic soil (living soil) needs to be treated differently. Iv had better luck with not letting soil dry out to much, I always keep the soil moist and the living bacteria in the soil stay stable and happy which in return keeps a happy plant! If you don’t mind I’m gonna show you my last run of Plutos cut my ethos genetic. Organic soil and Gaia green with some tm7 for micros and literally nothing else! Ran for 88 days I believe, could have even went longer and pulled 215.4 grams off two plants.

@Autos-only yea I have been doing the 3-4 method. Actually did only 2 the first time.
Don’t want to over do it.
I do try to keep my soil moist but have been scared to over water so I’m sure the beginning of the grow I was on the dryer side.
I have been adding fish shit for some microb action

This evening. Hopefully the nutes last night will be enough. Everything is just off a bit…but only YOU know what your plant looks like healthy
