Good morning guys. I’ve noticed something during this grow that I really never noticed before that there’s actually two different structures of buds.
This Bud below is a standard Christmas tree type bud for a lack of better terms it’s perfectly uniform and very easy to trim let’s call it bud structure A
The bud images below will call structure B
B the structure of this bud is made out of a bunch of what I’m going to call circles. They almost look like foxtails through and through. However they’re not foxtails but the bud structure is so uniquely different. What causes the two different structures?
Lots of times, bud structure and shape have many variables involved in their shape including lighting. Genetics will be the most influential here.
I have two different types of lighting for flowering, not sure if it causes different shapes, but I have seen different shapes under both lights.
Sativa flowers usually are thinner and not as dense, and are more airy.
Indica are dense, tight bug structure.
Hybrid can have any shape size, or texture because it would be influenced by both sides.
@Covertgrower you’re 100% correct in regards to sativa structure being less dense and more airy. Ironically enough the growing question was all 420 fast Bud seeds and everything in the tent is Indica and has this round looking calloused bud structure and the only one that is Christmas tree shaped not quite dense is the green crack sativa dominant…
So I guess that clears it up it’s more of a genetic issue . Thank you very much for the reply
I will say iv had some fantastic results from fast buds… I will be running their genetics back to back for a little while.
This was Chemdawg by them.
They got to 50+ inches and easy to grow… never had a fit with what I was feeding, ppm never stacked, no lockouts, just stayed hungry the whole grow… never had to tailor my feeding schedule or anything.
It’s funny I’ve got a little midget ChemDawg and stunned her by sitting on her when she was 10 days old. She never got any bigger than 12 in tall but she’s full of big fat dense buds. I’m getting ready to cut her down on Friday I also have two 420 fast buds green cracks that are way bigger than the average 420 fast bud plant
One of them is five foot and one is 5 ft 10 just totally filled with bud stack from top to bottom
This was an entire 420 fast buds grow that I actually was very happy with everything…
Enzo who works at fast buds sent me about 18 different samples so I got tons of their seeds still to go
