I did manage to save an older Northern Lights and put in quarantine over the last week. Today is harvest day after a good peroxide rinse.

I had no amber on the buds, just the sugar leaves. The thing was, after 17 weeks, I needed the room they occupied in the main tents. I could have let them go a bit longer in the small tent, but I jumped the gun and dropped a G-13 auto that I’m gunna grow in there.
Plus, I had cut off a small bud on the PH accidentally a few weeks ago, I let it dry for 5-6 days on top of my small tent and smoked it….wow!

You can buy a few of the clip hangers for like $8 on Amazon I think you can hang 30 colas at one time per rack right above the lights where your Temps and humidity is prime for drying ! 3/1 tent , vegging , flowering , drying !

I think the light in the tent would be bad for the tricomes, the humidity would be too low in a flowering tent and the temps too high bad for drying bud all around

That’s what I do with my 2x2x4 tent. It’s the nursery, starter tent, a growing tent when needed, and it’s the drying space as well since I put the Inkbird humidity controller in there. It’s a Swiss Army Tent!
The rack you see in my pic I saw on a clothing rack out in front of my next door neighbor’s house…she passed away…left out for garbage and it was hanging on the rack. I think ladies use it to dry stockings or intimate apparel or some sh!t. All I did was turn the hanging hook upwards, added a few more clips, and used the vent strings on both ends of the tent to secure it sideways. Works like a charm.

That’s what I was thinking too @pillsbury…since the perfect drying environment is 65 degrees/65% humidity. Would probably be too hot in there along.

In my case I can raise my Temps by 15° and humidity, are lower them with my ventilation system . Which allows me to set the drying Temps I prefer as a few colas dry and tge plants thrive. I know light exposure is not good is why I hang above the lights so it’s only reflected light and not direct light , but I don’t sell my medicine I grow in the test tent , I grow it for myself so I am satisfied over all with quality , it’s always room for improvement , it’s the largest room in the world right !

Been really busy at work, so it’s time for an update @Nicky…and the realization of a critical mistake.
Tent 1 has two Blue Dream and two Sour Diesel….and one of them is ten days younger due to a genetic failure.
Three of them are in flower as of 8/17…
Been giving them 3/4 nutes every third feeding and just Fish!t, Tribus, and Recharge in between to help build the soil. I also add Power Si Original (during veg) and the Power Si Bloom (now during flower) to the nutrient feeding. So far, so good. The HLG 260XL is at 225 watts.
In tent 2 I have two Banana Kush ladies that I planted June 19th. They’re growing like crazy as I’m doing the same nutrient schedule as in tent 1. Less is more. But during this time, as autos, they should already be in flower. I’ve done very little trimming as not to shock them….I’m buying into the shock talk this grow…and still no pre-flower. Nothin’. So I decided to try the flip them to 12/12 as I’ve read guys trying this with autos that grow too tall and don’t go to flower. So I do that four days ago hoping this might trigger them to start to flower.
The other day I was looking at more seeds here at ILGM and wanted to see my prior purchases since I’ve bought so many seeds I forget what I have…lol. When I looked at the Banana Kush purchase, I bought photos instead of autos. I went to my seed storage to confirm and yup…I bought ‘feminized’ regular seeds. WTF!!! Now I’m stuck, I treated them as autos…opening the tent whenever time of the day it was…day/night…dark/light on…everything you shouldn’t do with a photo. Now they haven’t gone to flower yet, so I’m wondering if I am safe to grow these out or should I cull them and start over for fear of hermie. @Hellraiser …HELP!

man…those are two THRIVING and HEALTHY plants. until they SHOW a sign of hermie, i wouldn’t waste that effort/time/money 
Grow’em out, LST them now that you know they’re photo and CONTROL your environment. Would suck to lose two perfectly healthy feminized plants that may NOT even hermie with what you’ve done yet because they WEREN’T in flower yet 
stay the course my friend!! i’m sure others will chime in too and hopefully give similar advice. “don’t throw the baby out with the bath water!” (check first, before just tossing

EDIT** some history on that old saying. JUST saw that not long about about folklore and legend and where some of the things people say/said came from. Before electricity and water heaters, you boiled pans of water to fill a tub for baths and daddy went first, on down the line in “pecking order” and baby was last. of course by then the water was “murky” from everyone’s dirt (EWWWW) and that’s where it came from but i’m sitting there thinking “well, shouldn’t you NOTICE the baby and be keeping an eye on it anyway??? and if you don’t see it and threw the bath water out it must’ve drowned, HORRIBLE parenting!!” no wonder life expectancy wasn’t as long then

I know, right? They look great…being I thought they were autos, I already did LST. But being photos, no topping, fimmimg, trimming…no ing-ing at all!! Like you suggested, I’m leaning towards growing them out, but I need some guidance from our fellow members here on how to proceed.
Well i’m no expert at growing MJ by ANY means as this is my first grow too but i am an encourager of folks who might be ready to give up on things in various aspects of their lives. You are in the RIGHT place friend. It’s why myself and probably EVERY other person here, came here. GOOD ADVICE, willing people to help, and a friendly respectful forum atmosphere where you can ask questions you have without feeling “dumb” or that people will attack you for not knowing, this is NOT that place HAPPY growing friend. i’ll follow along as i see posts

I forgot to mention, I bought some G-13 autos and couldn’t resist dropping one. So in the small tent it went after drying the the Purple Hulk. I’m trying one of those hard plastic airpot things….about two weeks old…water only.

Man they are beautiful, in my opinion 4 days will not matter as @TheVirginian said. Ride them out to you see signs of sex. You can still super crop them if keeping the ht down is a concern??

I agree with above, I’d treat them like photos from here on out and flip em to 12s when you are ready or they’re ready and just watch her crotch for boy parts

In veg you won’t herm them, you just may slow their growth.
Since you flipped them start treating the lights out alot more seriously.
Oh and in the future give your autos time to sleep, even when I run my autos I don’t peak at them at night. They need rest to lol.
You should be fine they look good.
