22 days in on my first grow in 50 years. Home made grow closet, sodium light. Topped one Gold leaf today and trimmed a few of the fan leaves off of the bottom. The Gold Leaves are kind of stubby but making lots of vegetation. I hope I’m doing all the right stuff. What do you think?

How long was it before they flowered?
Autos usually start flowering around week 3 or 4 in my experience.
I’m on day 28 with a gorilla glue auto, and it has not started flowering yet. I fimmed it at day 24 because I’ve never tried it before. Not sure what it’s going to do now. Got a feeling I should have left it alone.

By the way, you say you are 50 years removed since smoking or growing. Similar timeframe for me.
Last toke was 1985 for me… until 2021.
Now I’m growing and smoking because it’s legal here now.
1970s for me.
Wow, sir, I’d say it’s kind of like riding a bike for you! They look very healthy. The Gold Leaf makes some pretty colors in flower.
