Gold leaf Autoflower no flowers 13 weeks

Has anyone grown Gold leaf Auto outdoors. I have a few 13 weeks old, stretching like mad and they just won’t flower. Is this strain stable?

What does the code on the seed packet say?
GL-FAP … or …GL-FP

I grew GL outdoors and got some really tall and healthy flowers. I harvested at about 18 weeks. First time growing, I’m new at this. I yield about 39 ozs from 2 plants. they grew as tall as 10 feet.

Welcome @kedaho
They can get big, Hef says he planted Autos so they should be flowering by now.
I might think one could go long and flower late…but he is saying several of the gold leaf autos are 18 weeks with no flowers…That sounds like he got photo period seeds…not autos.

Thanks for the reply,

The label reads: ILG-GLF-FAP5 Gold leaf autoflowering

I’ve topped them half a dozen times or more, even cut about 2 feet of growth off on one to keep below screening they seem to be unstoppable which is not a bad thing. I was just expecting/hoping they
would be smaller and finished by now.

These are Auto’s, but sounds like you did well.

13 weeks x 6

Can you tell us more about your climate, day length, and grow site?

Have you contacted @ILGM.Support yet?

Welcome to the community @kedaho I had a gold leaf outside last summer I topped it at about 4 feet and it still reached 8 ft tall . Congratulations on your first grow.

I’m in Australia, daytime temps between 32c to 41c humidity 10 to 20% , full sun position. Our longest day of the year will be 22 December, so I’m guessing I will waiting for flowers for some time
yet. I was hoping to have two harvest’s in one season growing autos but very unlikely now.

Not much point contacting ILGM support as all seeds I planted germinated, so I’d doubt they will replace them.

I wouldn’t discount that they made an honest mistake. Let ‘em know and see what they say. If nothing else, they should know that they sent out a batch which didn’t perform properly.

Ok I’ll contact them, Thanks

Good luck.

And I hope you get a decent harvest in the end.

Most amazing stain I have grown mine are budding in six weeks!

Are they outdoors? In pots or in the ground?

sometimes they need a push by putting them into 12/12… hard when you’re outside if you have light pollution. and let me caution you about bringing outdoor plants inside… highly recommend you don’t… and i had one that just unfortunately never flowered. somewhere around 14 weeks i finally had to call it quits it was too big for me to keep taking care of with no end in sight. took clones and brought them inside (a horrible mistake) so i could do 12/12 and they kept growing but never flowered. it was a very long, sad experiment. i hope yours eventually flips for you.

They shouldn’t need a push as they are Autos and yes I am considering starting again, but really think it’s too late now.

not all autos are created equal.

Of course, but these plants are not growing anything like how they are described.

I’m having the same issue with White Widow autos. 100+ days and still no flowers. The last grow from the same batch of seeds did the same thing so we just threw them out. We’re growing more WWA from a different batch of seeds and they are flowering right on schedule. I think we just got a bad batch of seeds because some do you quick and some take longer. I have everything on a 16/8 cycle but I think I’ll try the 12/12 push and if that doesn’t work not sure what other options there are. I’m open to suggestion tho.
