Trying to diagnose a deficiency in flower?

Good evening all. Hope everyone’s holiday season is going well!!! :christmas_tree::santa_claus::american_football:
Need to pick the minds of some organic folks. I know there are many others but @Budbrother and @Storm come to mind. Will try to keep this short while still providing enough info.
Sugar Cookie - peanut butter breath - hippie crippler
7gal fabric containers
Bottom 1/2 of pots garrigan super soil
Top 1/2 of pots reused roots organics
Watering with coconut water, calmag, recharge tea(every other watering) and yucca.
Ph in and slurry has been good throughout at 6.4 to 6.7
Environment has been on point the entire grow with night temps dipping down to around 67 the last few weeks.

All 3 Sprouted at the end of September

Added a small dose of potassium sulfate just prior to flip on 11/25 with first pistols around 12/5.

From the beginning of veg all 3 girls have been calmag hungry which was satisfied using 3ml per gal at each watering. Wanted to address with a top dress but took the easy way out with the calmag. Some family issues prevented my full attention for about 5 weeks so… Despite that they all did really well till the start of flower.

Can’t seem to get a grip on this issue. What i originally thought was a (worse) calcium deficiency at the start of flower I now believe is a potassium deficiency. Perhaps locked out by my adding calmag every feed?

From the start of flower(first pistols) around 12/5 this issue started presenting itself and has been working its way up the girls from the mid/lower leaves. Hasn’t reached the top yet but getting close in some spots.

On 12/15 i topped each container with a simple flowering mix of:
2 tablespoons of Fish Bone Meal
1 tablespoon of Kelp Meal
4 tablespoons of Gypsum
And
Worm Castings 1/4" to 1/2" layer
Watered in with recharge tea.
This seems to have slowed it down a bit but still making its way up the colas. All 3 plants affected btw. Stacking seems to have slowed as well.

Tomorrow is water day and was thinking hit them with a full dose of potassium sulfate along with the coconut water and yucca but wanted to get opinions from the pros? :flexed_biceps::sign_of_the_horns:

Thanks in advance!! :sign_of_the_horns::sign_of_the_horns::sign_of_the_horns:

Perhaps @Growdoc @Dman1969 @Dforce can assist.

Thanks for the tag. I’m not a organic grower, so I don’t know how to address, but, I see a cal issue, whether its locked or missing, I would wait for more experience organic growers to chime in. Good luck Sir @Metalheadfred :crossed_fingers:

Thanks @DaveySprocket and @Dforce

I believe you are correct @Dforce and the Ca was what ive been trying to address all along but also had a few leaves that presented as potassium so idk. Maybe both.

Plucked a few leaves(before taking the pics above) like this one that looks to me like a potassium issue.

Meh I’ll get it figured out.
Thanks :+1:

Not Potassium it’s Calcium. The additives like cnut, kelp, and potash are all Potassium inputs. If I remember right, Garrigan’s recipe deviated from Subcools recipe with additional K input. Your K could be too high and locking Ca.

You just input more bone meal to increase Ca P levels to account for the K. What I’m not seeing is the Mg input to balance the Ca-P-Mg. You said plants slowing growth and that relationship fits. The calmag provides some balance but the additional Gypsum and Bone distorts this relationship. Weirdly I’d treat the Ca with Mg.

Thanks @Budbrother appreciate it.

You think a Tbs per gallon of the epsom with the cnut and yucca would be sufficient?

Thank you!!

More like a tsp.

I’d pickup some langbenite. It provides the moderate release of K Mg S to balance the Ca inputs. The potassium sulfate is more for the last couple of weeks when you need a bump because it’s instant uptake.
