Everything seems to be going pretty good The only problem having is the humidity issue My humidity’s been fairly low and the only way I could get it to raise up is by turning my exhaust exhaust fan off but when I do that when the lights are on sometimes it starts to get too hot in the tent so I’ve got to turn the fan back on I’ve got a small humidifier in my tent it’s a small tent but it’s still not raising it very much should I get a bigger humidifier or is there something I could do like turning the fan off with a timer on and off once in a while just wondering if y’all could give me some suggestions
What are the lung room conditions? If you have a whole home dehumidifier with your HVAC system that could be contributing. If you can get an automated humidifier, like ACI or one of the others you can set a target and it’ll automate it a bit.
First off, what humidity are you trying to achieve ? The alternative to ACi is to buy an analogue humidifier, with a manual on off button, and an Inkbird controller. This might work out a tad cheaper than Aci although it depends on which country you’re in and prices there.
You need a non digital humidifier if going with the Inkbird.
Depending on the plants age/stage it might be OK, maybe slightly slower growth but healthy.
Some people do well with intermittent venting, but 24/7 is safest and highly recommended.

I’m under-ventilated and having 33%rh but it was risky to learn that I wouldn’t get disease or mold.
The lung room and intake air are pretty important to grow space climate.
As posted above, low humidity may be the lessor of all evils. But that really depends on all of the other conditions of your grow.
If you can slow the exhaust some is fine but don’t turn it off while lights are on. Most people think the fans only purpose is to remove heat, which it does but it also needs to replenish the co² your plants are consuming in the tent.
The easiest way to bring humidity in your tent up is to have a large enough humidifier in your lung room. This way when your exhaust is replenishing air through intake it’s already at desired rh.
Yeah I just have a 2 gallon humidifier in the small grow room that I have it’s it’s small and I have a exhaust fan that I can control and slow it down fairly well pretty slow but the best I can seem to do sometimes is getting around 33 30% humidity might be slow in the plant growth down a little bit put the plants look awfully good so I don’t know if I want to mess with it or just leave it as it is and see how it goes I do have the fan on the lowest setting on the exhaust I can’t go any lower without turning it off and I really don’t want to turn it off all the way because I’m afraid when my light cycle back on you know if my fan don’t happen to come on at the same time I don’t want it to get too hot in there like I said at the moment it’s just about 31 32%, but the plants look good and they look like they’re growing and maybe a little slow but I’m thinking maybe I should just stay with what I’ve got
Like I said this is my first girl and I’m learning everything if I would have went hydroponics I would have been better off with my knowledge because I felt the family member with that a lot but I wanted to do soil so I’m doing the best that I can and and I do really appreciate the advice that I get on here because it’s really helped me out a lot
I get slower growth and wavy leaves when it’s really dry here. Growing 4 or more different varieties finding some OK some worse. I haven’t gotten there. You’re getting into climate controls so good stuff it’s needed for high end sruff
