The vessel he is using for the seedlings i do believe is advertised and has settings to be a complete veg to flower set up. I thought it looked small in the ad but the light does adjust higher

@OGIncognito I’m stating what the ad said lol and i think the ad said the light will adjust to like 36 inches

I’ve had 2 of these and around week 2-3 of veg they’re growing into the light. Additionally the light on that herb hydro is weak and would never flower buds to any satisfaction.

@OGIncognito I start my plants under t-5 lights over never floated indoors. Only outside

I recommend the Aircube system if you’ve got the cash, otherwise I can show you my old set up that still I use for Veg if you want. The most expensive part is the table and that’s only $100

[/grid]had to move it into the grow tent and add a different light. Its growing a 1/2 inch almost daily. The smaller one was planted the same day and its no where near the other as far as growth goes. Progress goes on and thanks for the tips and comments. I used some leaves i cut off and made a rolling tray using epoxy, ill post those too.

How you liking it? Inwas thinking of going DWC for my next run, just worried about water temp.
There are measures you can take to mitigate the effects of warmer than ideal water temperatures. Using a larger volume tote means it will take longer for temperatures to rise and the colder night air should bring the temperature down enough to not warm up too much in the heat of the following day.
Higher temperature effects the waters soluble oxygen content, though by using bigger air stones and pump, you can provide enough air to ensure maximum oxygen content.

How long does the nutrient water stay good for? Im always afraid to leav it sitting around. But i guess itd be different with the airstones and circulation.
The nutrient water stays good for the entire duration of the grow in fact on my DWC grow I never change out the res and just add and adjust according to ppm and pH, only replacing some of the nutrient water with plain water to bring down the ppm in the final 4 weeks.
I run a sterile grow using H2O2 at the beginning and additionally whenever any off odours or root problems appear this ensures the grow stays pathogen free.
