Trainwreck Indoor Grow Journal

Sunday brings an update! The larger plant, Ethel (now entered in a little growing competition) has started growing three fingers, as well as the second largest.

There’s a bit of browned leaf tip, with very small spots… anyone have any ideas? Initially I’d think a bit of Nitrogen burn, but I’m not sure if I’m right or what should be done.

This one and the next both seem really intent on stretching (only towards the sun, no stretching under the CFL) while in the window but both look really healthy, with much larger leaves than the oldest.

This last one still is stretching a lot, but straight up as opposed to the side. Doesn’t seem too bad as long as I limit sun light stretch time in favor of the CFL light.

Also - using solo cups for covering roots and they’re still in clear cups so I can view root bound / water level. pH is on the way, I’m thinking I’ll switch it over to the more intense water schedule when they’re all at three finger leaves.
