Just compiling a list of toxic forums to avoid.
Rollitup is one for sure. Just the worst kinds of people. Maybe a few good ones. But it is the EXACT opposite of my experience here. Everyone is kind, helpful, just happier group. It’s as if they dredged the sewers to find most of the people there.

Those type of people were weeded out from here. The Admin and mods do a great job at that. I’ve seen this forum referred to as the kiddie forum and I just have to laugh. What’s more “kiddie”? Having civil discussions even when grow styles are on opposite sides of the spectrum or tearing someone down because they don’t grow like you.

I’d much rather have a discussion with a grower with opposing views. I usually learn something.

Those of you that have a Facebook should follow the ilgm page and read tho comments on some of the posts. The amount of bashing there is absolutely atrocious! I’m so glad that this forum is nothing like that.

I gave up facebook years ago due to fake news and toxic af people. Absolutely not worth it.
I’m 25 haven’t had facebook in 4 years. Never was into social media other than forums. However, I enjoy these forums. I have browsed others and as you said, seems like a bunch of ass hats who all think they know everything but each have a different solution to the same question, and all think they’re right.

Not into social media. Forums like this , weed cultivation and what you can do with your harvest are very informative. And yes your gonna have those that beat there chests that this is the only way. Here tho people really want you to succeed, not saying there way is the holy grail but really wanting you to grow good weed. happy growing to all

The administrator who started this should be thanked for including civil discourse and no foul language in the forum rules. This has caused some friction between the moderators and users over the years but we see now why those rules were enforced. It’s an uplifting community (for the most part) and frankly I’d rather be here than on any other forum.
But it’s the folks like you that gravitated here and stayed that make it work.

Ditto to everyone’s comments. I was googling a possible problem and ended up in one of those toxic places. As I read those responses I know I would have just given up trying to grow! Every person I have encountered here has been friendly and supportive. As a newbie I know they have answered the same question hundreds of times but are never condescending. Thank you to the mods and growers that are willing to help us newbies.
