My question is on auto’s when i get ready to top and or fim is there a certain day i should plan on doing it? For instance watering day and if so with or without nutes? Before lights out for their few brief hours or first thing after their nap? I know it can be stressful on them so are there any suggestions to make it a bit easier on them? Thank you in advance and apologize if it a rookie or obvious question.
I top when it’s a time that is convenient for me, like when I am watering or feeding or trimming the plant. Haven’t really ever considered the factors you point out. I’ve found that plants bounce back from a topping very quickly.
Certain day? Definitely on a Tuesday. Just kidding, I don’t think it matters. Personally I would do it the same day as I watered.
Right, lol. Ya laugh but women sware if ya cut your hair on a full moon it grows faster…think i may do it today! 
My wife is a beautician. Says the same. She’s old school country so we plant according to the moon phases. We both got raised by grandparents that pass down tons of botanical info.
So it does apply to plants as well? My wife swores by it on hers.
