Timing: Topping and Transplanting

Hi all.

Ending Week 4 of my first blue dream photoperiod indoor grow.

I want to transplant soon and wondering if it’s also time to top? Counting shouldn’t be hard, but somehow its a very stressful… Am I counting the nodes right? Are my arrows just above the 4th?

Transplanting and topping are both stressful for the plant. what should I do first and how much time between? Thinking I should transplant first… There are a few roots coming out the tiny hole in the bottoms and these are not ideal pots.

My method is transplant, let them recover and top a week or two after transplant.

I have not had a problem doing both at the same time

Super older thread, but I am dealing with this right now.

Plants need transplanting any day now, and also could use a top. Not sure if I am going to trim now, and then transplant, or the other way around.
