11 days old does everything look ok with it
Looking good! Going to be ready for a transplant in the next week or so. Great job!
Thank you yes i was planning on end of week 3 in the solo cup to transplant when shoukd i top it i read after 5th node is that correct
my personal preference or the 6th topped back to the 5th
Ok cool and does the first single serated leaves count as a node
Technically I think they all are including the little round starter leaves. But I believe most growers start counting at the three finger leaf set.
Also light type will play a big part in how much stretch you get between nodes. An intense led with a heavy blue shade will result in a short plant with tight nodes.
What type of trimming technique do you plan on using?
Not quite sure yet first grow so im kinda w8nging it lol and trying to research different techniques any advise would be great
I count growth nodes , so count #2 as #1 and I remove the serrated leaves with the topping. Indicas I top above and between 5th and 6th. Sativas between the 4th and 5th. AlwYs leave a little 1/4” nub above the topping. I’ve split many during LST and this helps prevent that
Bingo
Looks really good! I hope my WW photos look like yours!
Mine are a week old since planting the seeds today.
Thanks fellas one last question im planning on transplanting end of next week shoukd i start lst then and how long after transplanting can i top
CC they will take off seems like over night just be patient check on them daily but try not to overwater im new and if it looks dry and feels light i wait 1 more day just to be safe
You’ll love that strain! I harvested a little over 20 zips the last few months. I would like to mention that your young ladies are stretching more than we want. If you’ll lower the light some and dim it down that’ll help. What is your light? I germ under a T5 fluorescent or a dimmable Wills 100 ?
Cool cant wait to taste this wedding cake
I would let the plants enjoy their new home after transplanting before LST IMO. Maybe a week?
Wish i would of bought a bigger tent got the 2Ă—2Ă—5 but got a bigger light went with the viparspectra p2000
More info please, Tent size? Light type? Soil?
Certainly looks like you are off to a great start!
Couple tips
Try and not let the internet take you down a rabbit hole of misinformation.
Keep it simple to start out.
Don’t be embarrassed by a bare bones start, this is a hobby that is best to invest in upgrades as it pays for itself.
Your water question, you may want to fill an empty solo cup with soil and let it dry. So you can compare it’s weight to the one with the plants, and wait until it is almost the same before watering. You may want to give it a little if not sure in the meantime.
I started with a 2x3 tent and I am a very heavy user. But it gives me more than I need.
I have a 2Ă—2Ă—5 spiderfarmee tent with viparspectra p2000 light temps are between 75-77 rh is 70% i got the watering down by weight of solo cup i check it everyday and if its light i usually wait 1 more day i follow kyle kushman and mr canucks seem like they have some good info and videos
