So i have a close friend who started working in a cannabis growing and manufacturing company about a year ago! He sent me this picture today and told me they are going to harvest it and wash it and then it will be turned into concentrates like vapes and carts and then be sold at the dispensary! If it were mine id discard it all! What’s everyone else’s opinion on this?

I believe this is the reason for the new CHS trend. People are trusting the dispo and are getting moldy weed and that is what is causing them to puke their brains out. Sure am glad I now grow my own.

OUCH!!! My career was perishable retail after service. That would not pass inspection. They are going to wash and concentrate hoping to pass an inspection and doing it quickly. Sad. Sooo easy to prevent.

Exactly. Peroxide is pretty cheap, but managing RH and airflow is more effective.

Greed can and will destroy good intentions. This was my initial worry when it started going legal. I wish I could open a Dispo. My business model would always be Quality vs Quantity. Hard to do though when the Feds sent me away for 15 years for 2 tons o weed. Bastages.

Man some of the commercial fungicide/miticide/insecticide treatments available are harvest day usable. Just an application every few weeks or at first sign and its gone. Poof…gone.

Peroxide dissolves spiderweb mold immediately and WPM nearly so. Other forms of mold can be more challenging; however, I cannot imagine a commercial grow not managing RH and airflow.
There’s no excuse for N tox in a professional grow. None!

I bet just looking for a ton of weight. At a certain point these suckers get weight but less THC. I watched a Bugbee seminar on how, like corn, cannabis will stop protein production drastically. Thc count drops. Weight goes way up. Was an interesting watch. The charts he loves clearly showed his reasoning.
