So, this has been a blast so far! I’m reading a bunch, binge watching YouTube and playing with the plants probably a little too much.
I topped the one on the left (Channel) she is 8 weeks old and bent over (Bo Derek) 5 weeks old. I also tied down some branches yesterday on Channel. Since they are a different age and the training is different when should I flip? When the smaller one is adequate size?

For me I switch them when they reach about 50% of the desired mature height. They double or more in size when they go into flower, this is for photo plants, I’m not familiar with autos as I normally don’t grow them.

I agree flipping to flower has a lot to do with how much room you have height wise. And if you know how much they stretch during flower. Rule of thumb plants will usually double in size during stretch. Few will surprise you and go little past double.
Something to consider if growing in garage or basement well really on any concrete I would raise pots off the ground least an inch or two during winter months. Just food for thought.
Plants look great by the way , if in hurry to flower then I would you riser to raise the little plant up to same height as big one for more of even light canopy.

I learn so much from peoples pics. Are the PVC pipes in your buckets drilled with holes to water your roots better? I did that with a strawberry pot years ago!
