Use your dehumidifier water. It’s distilled. Then the ph value shouldn’t matter. The nutrients you use will effect soil ph and if you get them a little hot, just back off the nutes. Growing your own stuff is pretty easy and forgiving.
Why are you having such issues with your seeds? They couldn’t be from here. I popped 3, 1 of each strain. They are all still going good (except I think one strain is an auto, Which pisses me off, because I’ve been harsh with it. And it’s flowering at 20”, which means my yields gonna suffer.)

Distilled water, dehumidifier water is essentially 0 ppms. The pH is also basically null. It takes the level of whatever u add it to. If u pour 0 ppm water in 6.0 soil, ur runoff will be 6. If u pour it in 7.0 soil, runoff will be 7. If u mix nutes into it, your solutions pH WILL BE LOW. Im talking sub 5 low. So you should adjust it back into range before pouring.

Ahhh gotcha. I guess I’ll be buying a ph meter now. Lol. What are some additives to bring it into range. As far as, if I want my soil ph perfect, what should I add to the water?

for a soil meter thats not too shabby at all! I may try one out myself just to compare with the digital. I LOVE my apera. She’s been thru hell and back. Just recalibrated for the first time in 2 years last month. Let it stay dry for months…
Excellent choice.
PH control is varied. There’s the popular pH up and pH down (sold by MANY a grow company in liquid bottles) if ur using a certain line sich as fox farms or gh, they both offer respective types.
There’s organic (healthy soil microbes) citric acid and baking soda for up. Vinegar is a solid down. Nectar of the Gods and Earth Juice sell organic ones as well.
You really believe you are using 1600 watts?

Lol. No, I actually pull 110KW from the wall per month, and of course the lights also run fans. But I do know my average light accumulation at soil level. Avg. 8000 mmol.
