Hey I just got a tent kit and my partner trying
To be supportive got these plants from a friend of ours. These have been monster cropped from the research I’ve done. Clones taken from a plant flowering and put back into vege state. I haven’t ever grown a plant before so feeling even more intimidated since I have no idea how to tell
If they are ok. I’ve provided photos so any advice or reassure appreciated please.
Not sure on the type of soil but using canna terra Vega atm for nutrients with a consistent ph of 7.
Light is 600W MH lamp.
I have a temp and humidity reader on the way but so far the temperature has been pretty steady and decent from what I can feel. I feed as needed with low strength nutrients.

Yes rooted and told to just treat them like any plant in the vege stage.

Have you noticed any new vegetative growth since you’ve had them? They will look funky for awhile but eventually new growth will look normal. If you see new growth then rest easy. She will keep doing her thing until you extend dark hours long enough to flower again.

Yeah I have noticed a little bit of growth nothing crazy but we haven’t had them for long only a week.
Should I drop the light or is a good distance?

I’d say your at a safe distance. Not sure about optimized. Looks little high, but I’m an led guy. I’d get some experienced opinions before making changes.
They don’t need a ton of intensity to veg.

@beardless hey I saw your comment about monster cropping. Was wondering if you had any pointers? Thanks
Experience is very limited with monster cropping. I am not sure I can associate a particular benefit to the clone or mother as a result of monster cropping. The time it takes for the clone to go through the reveg process in my mind is a drawback.

Ok so they look like they are going well then? Sorry this is literally also my first plants so I have no idea if they are healthy or flailing in some way. Hahaha thanks for your help.
Welcome to the community ! If growing weed is in your plans to continue. I recommend starting with cannabis friendly soil. save you a few headaches down the road.
Good luck

Welcome. Be patient, reveg takes a long time, be sure to do at least 18/6 light schedule and don’t give much nutes until you see new growth and don’t over water.
Is the ballast dimmable? If so, you can take it down to 400 watts. don’t need 600 watts with small plants like that. Then you can also lower light to about 24" at 400 watts or 30" at 600 watts.
