Welcome to the forum.
You don’t want them all in the same pot. One plant per pot. What happens is the roots will become entangled and compete for water and nutrients. It may cause additional problems if they each mature at different rates.
Im going to transplant into the ground. Does this make a difference
Also I plan on doing Lst and bending them away from each other
So long as they are far enough apart that the roots don’t become entangled.
This does nothing to keep the roots from becoming entangled.
Ok thank you. I will separate them…im planting in a 6x6 foot area with an 8 inch raised bed. Also plan on digging down 24 inches. Soil in my area is silty sandy clay loam aka black gold.
My suggestion for the best result is to put each in a 7 to 10 gallon pot and use a soil that is properly buffered for cannabis such as a Fox Farm product, Coast of Maine, or Roots Organics. You will have difficulties addressing problems if they are planted in the ground. Filling your raised bed with one of these soils is another option, but it would be more expensive.
I can’t afford this option…My neighbor grows outdoors and never has problems and get 12 to 15 ft plants yearly. He also said I should separate but just wanted to be sure thanks.
We all do what we have to do. Happy growing.
I’ll take pics and report as I go. Thanks for the speedy reply. Happy growing
