Ahaha yeah with the right investments will yield the right return/results at harvest p.s @Budbrother I don’t need to be friends with all sheeple

I think budbrother was referring to this

I’d love to hear how perlite and worm castings will increase my yields though? That stuff is cheap enough for me.

Guess who’s going on a worm hunt

Try it you may end up with bigger yields or you can always put worms in your growing medium…

There’s a 2 yd bag of perlite and a 20 gallon Rubbermaid container of plant nutrients in my garage. Pretty safe to say I’m not going to put any worms in pots. But I’d also be fairly confident the perlite doesn’t help my yield any and a handful of crawlers has just as much if not more impact than a package of castings alone. I grab them and throw them into my small compost bin.

Only point I was making is that you should be more open minded. You may learn something other than how to throw money at issues.

It’s my first grow but I believe a lot of it comes down to common sense…if OP stated that worms will aerate the soil and the worm shit will be good fert for plant them I would suggest using perlite to aerate soil and a bag of worm castings as a supplement unless growing outdoors in which case I would most probably use home made composting as a worm farm and use that on the garden.

Not hard to tell, but no biggie. One of the things that makes this place great is that we all come from different walks. So when someone has an issue, there’s usually lots of people that have dealt with a similar situation in different ways. If there’s a no cost or low cost solution, most people want to hear it. So don’t be the guy that discourages people sharing those kind of ideas.

I thought exactly the same thing on my 1st grow “common sence” but being the miss “know it all” I had it “all under control” that is until I found myself facing problems that I didn’t know nor did my “common sence” so I went looking for help on the world wide Web. Stumbled across this forum, found help, fixed the issue and had a good harvest. I come to this site daily and everyday I read something new that I didn’t know or didn’t even think of.

Being new to this game means taking people’s experiences and advice then tweaking it to suit you and your situation.

As @Budbrother stated not everyone has the means or money to throw at grows so become resourceful in what they have/can use.

Open the mind and absorb like a sponge.

My “common sense” told me to start with hydro. I might need to get it checked out by a doctor.
