I felt kinda the same. With the wind direction I could look out my front door. Trees would be almost sideways, then all of a sudden flaling in every direction but still sper windy. Not like they were rebounding from strong gusts, but like winds would come from different directions.
We still have a tree on the power lines in our backyard. I’m glad yallare safe tho man. Did y’all go anywhere or still or toughing it out??
By boss gifted me a 7500w gererator. Thats been going good until the fuel filter clogged at 2am this morning. I fixed that so back to good for now.
I’m going to wire up a generator inlet to the breaker panel so I can just plug the generator into that and not have to run extension cords everywhere. Looks like Hurricane Beryl’s spaghetti models in here.
I’m glad you have some power, from the humidity description that could kill someone. Without AC, that would be less than comfortable. @BobbyDigital
It’s a game changer and unfortunately it may not be the last time needed this summer. We barely even hit hurricane season.
@BobbyDigital @Borderryan22 Ya’ lil Stay safe your in our prayers.
Thanks Daryl! We’re all good in this neighborhood. Won’t have power for quite some time but spirits are good
Doing good @Dman1969, thanks! Same as Bobby, still no power, but we’ve done it before!
Make sure if u wire it thru the. Ox thay u kill the main breaker so when ppwer comes back kn ur not throwing double powee thru lines and blowing something. My boss does this with his place has a 7500w henerator he just flips the breakers off and flips generator on amd its all good to go for him. Im pld achool and run the electric cprds. Lol. Atlwast til we find the hpise tjen a has generator thY auto cuts on whe. Power goes out and shuts off auto when power cuts on. Id like to do that on this place but qhile gone one day someone would come cut it loose amd sale it. Lol
Yep, it’s required by law here. It’s not necessarily for the power surge but to protect the lineman from feedback.
I picked some of this up recently, and it comes highly recommended to whoever enjoys a good porter every now and again!
Ooooh that sounds delicious
@Low the description is accurate.
Graham cracker flavor front, chocolate notes, finished by toasted marshmallow. I use the term “sweet” but it’s definitely “beer sweet”
If that makes sense. It’s still a porter, and bitter.
This beer definitely strikes conversation with the flavor profile.
Yeah it makes sense. Not like the whiskey sweet when they do similar things. Recently had a butter scotch blend that was pretty good.
I like the name Dragons Milk. Sounds like something the Vikings would have been drinking. Haha
Also, I like that alcohol content. lol
Michigan beer, new holland…
Alcohol content was last on my mind when purchasing, I drink to enjoy. I will say though, you would not know it was 11% by flavor, this one is sneaky.
Very well blended, and created.
The better half tried it, and she doesn’t like anything porter, but she lit up after tasting this one.
The regular version is good also
. Have you ever had duck rabbit? It was my first milk stout and I loved it. Been trying them ever since lol
I have not tried that, but I’ll look for it next time I’m in a store. The picture was taken at a grocery store, they don’t have a very good selection. I’ll check my beer sources for more varieties.
Thanks @DoneDeal for suggesting it. I would love to try those. Never heard of duck rabbit.
Before I came here, I was a craft beer fanatic. This place has helped me enjoy them and not just drink them to get wasted. Porters and stouts are my go to winter beers and IPA is usually my summer thing but love finding little shops that let you do mix and match and make your own six packs
I will always choose a craft beer over anything national. Let’s be honest, national mass produced beer is piss with alcohol in it.
Mix and match is where it’s at!
