Sorry about my ignorance here. I want to ask what may be a dumb question, but heRe goes. I once got my hands on a strain that made me head high, not tired, not body lazy. When the high wore off, I felt great. When I was high I was energized. I am in a state where pot is illegal. So I am trying my own grow with hopes of producing better weed and try to grow like the stuff I had. In watching YouTube videos, the type of high, head or body was determined by flowering time. Can someone help me to know when the best time would be to harvest ak47 autoflower for best head result?

If I may piggyback. If sativas give more of an energetic high, what if I wait until the trichomes get mostly amber? Will that give a couchlock high?

Is AK47 an indica dominant strain? My wife is a sativa lover and likes the energetic strains also. Some of her favorite is green crack and sour diesel.
The way it was explained to me was don’t harvest when most of the trics are clear.
Clear is unripe trics and will give a zippy fast head high but it will not last long and you’ll also not be getting the most potency possible from unripe flower.
But I’m no expert, just info a dispensary and the Google shared with me. Good luckwith your strain hunt hope you find a good energetic strain you like.
That’s exactly the high I get from Laughing Buddha. Thats one reason why I will start to grow this strain soon

Sativas are what you are looking for. Think Amnesia Haze, Chocolope, Trainwreck, Sour Diesel
AK-47 is a sativa hybrid and offers a slightly more relaxed high than an energetic one.
I have done quite a bit of research on these topics. I harvest with mostly milky trichomes and my bud knocks my socks off! LOL
