The Grower’s Recruitment Gauntlet Begins! Think you’ve got the strongest roots in the community? Prove it. Recruit new growers, re-engage current members, climb the leaderboard, and earn exclusive badges, and prizes.

Help new growers find their home. Re-engage previous members who haven’t been on the site for at least 6 months. Share knowledge, bring friends, and strengthen the garden. Earn badges for growing the community together. The more you grow the community, the higher you rise.

Challenge Structure

• Recruiter Points for NEW users:

  • 1 point per new member recruited

  • +2 bonus points if the new member posts a grow log, or is continuously posting on other’s journals (aka engaged in the forum).

  • +3 bonus points if the recruit joins the challenge and invites more users!

• Recruiter Points for RE-ENGAGED users:

  • 1 point per re-engaged member who hasn’t been on the site for at least 6 months.

  • +2 bonus points if the re-engaged member posts a grow log and is actively engaged in the forum by posting their own journal and/or posting on other’s journals.

  • +3 bonus points if the re-engaged member joins the challenge and invites more users!

• Weekly Leaderboard Updates

• Exclusive badges and prizes for top recruiters!

Special notes: For each new member and recruiter, please make a post/journal entry here with your new member’s screen name so we can track everyone’s recruiting progress and welcome/recognize/encourage all the new and re-engaged members.

The contest begins now and ends on January 15th. If all goes well, we will consider running it again (or just keep this one going).
