ThatoneAKguy’s 210 watt northern lights auto diary

I was having some germination issues in general and decided to germinate 7 for my four plant main room. The four moby dick came up fast and furious and I thought the northern lights were duds but low and behold they all came up two days later. I have a little 2x4x5 tent that I use for germinating, cuttings and drying with an hlg 90 watt and I added an old clunker mars hydro 300. Together they draw 210 watts and off we go!
I would’ve like to try out the floraflex 6” coco pot pro system with a bubbler manifold but I stuck them in rockwool just because I can build an entire setup with spare parts in about an hour not that I’ve done it over and over.
I’m going to build a quick little drain to recirculating hydro system just like my other two and see what kind of results we come up with. I don’t have high hopes with that wattage but sometimes simple works. But if you know me I won’t hesitate to put an hlg 260 in there and try it again.

You’re off to a good start. Use what you got and add as you grow. You should have enough light with what you have for veggin. At about 35-40 days flip to flowering and add enough light to get 50 watts per every square foot your plants occupy at the end of the two weeks of stretch. The important thing is to get started!

I’ll be dropping an NLA at the end of this month so it’ll be interesting to see what mines supposed to do, new grower here. Set to watch.

I lowered the lights today to raise the lux. I see the potential issue at 20” above the plants I’m at about 35,000 from the HLG 90 watt and 28k from the mars 300. I topped them earlier in the week because they told me too  the stalks look great for 17 day old plants so I’ll keep doing what I’m doing for now. They are on full general hydro veg nutes now.

29 days later and we are in preflower. I topped them a couple weeks ago and got a pretty good response from them. I thought I’d see what kind of stretch I could get by going full veg and 1/2 bloom nutes so off we go! These little hydro systems are so easy to build and they really do take guess work out of growing. People claim you lose flavor and hydro is typically more harsh smoking but I disagree!

It’s gotten outright ridiculous in this little tent! These 3 northern lights autos have exploded In preflower. Since one of the main tents had exactly 3 spots available and it’s only fair to get the most I can out of them I decided to go ahead and move them under the dual hlg 260’s.

EDIT: somehow I got my Pineapple Express in there and I don’t know how to delete it lol. It’s a great plant to look Omar though.

BRUH. I’M SO JELLY. You are doing AWESOME
Proud of you! <3

Thanks lady! Been busting my butt to keep it all together and progressing each time.
I was finally able to get the “white Tahoe cookies” strain and I’ve got a grand plan.
I’m going to pop all 5 and grow them up. I’m going to take 5 clones from each one and when the best pheno is shown I’ll grow 4 of them and make the last one the mother and give some sea of green a shot for about a year or until I get another great idea.

Hows this coming??

Believe it or not it was doing better under 200 watts than it did when I moved it to 520…I did so because I had room in the main tent. As I stated in earlier posts I was out of town for the stretch and the didn’t get what they needed for nutrients and I tried to make up for it and overdid it. These particular plants are not like others and are fairly sensitive to high ppm.
