Are you using tap water or distilled/RO
Tap water will rise as the chlorine dissipates unless you let it set out for 24hrs open to let the chlorine go away. Another cause is lime additions in the soil. It will slowly bring the pH up.
Unless you see problems with the plant I wouldnât worry about it.
I am using 6L drinking water in containers which i pH
About the like could be true as itâs a super soil and I am not sure whatâs in it exactly.
Another thing i noticed was that last time when I pHed water in a bucket and left the bucket in the room open and checked the pH after few days the pH was way higher.
Somewhere i read it could be because of CO2 in the air rising the pH ?
With super soils you donât water to runoff. Just water at the right pH and the plant does its thing.
As it uses up the available nutrients it will root deeper into the soil. Runoff washes away your good food.
If its a living soil with active microbial life it will self adjust within reason the pH of itself.
All taken together what you need to do is watch the plant. You already saw the tip burn and backed off the food. Thatâs perfect. Unless another problem arises donât change anything yet.
Trust that your super soil will do its job and feed the plant.
Okay perfect something new learned again.
I forgot to water till runoff before so I did it right by mistake but today i wanted to check ppm and EC and pH.
EC was at 1,6by the way forgot to mention this before.
Thanks again for teaching me. So i know now i will not water till run off .
Whatever you store your seeds in needs to be waterproof. Also make sure it comes to room temperature before opening or condensation can ruin your seeds.
Thanks for the storage tiips.
Making it happen and checking seeds for issues, as we speak.
