I have been battling this problem for past 3 weeks, with the fan leaves dying(if keeps up will run out of fan leaves on one soon )and seems to be slow growth…plants have been in bloom for 31/2 weeks. have been watering with earth juice bloom(0-3-1).up to having this problem have always watered with nutes and the water having a 6.5 ph… was told I probably had ph problem.went out and bought a blu lab soil tester, which I had tested against my water ph meter by mixing = amounts of distilled water and soil and sticking both meters in mixture both read within .2 of each other (paid $180 for it was one recommended by local grow store so I hope it is accurate) when I test soil it is reading 6.9-7.1(too high)so for past 3 waterings have fed with just nutes to bring down ph. have seen little to no change.the water I’m putting in with nutes has a ph of 4.7 and 540ppms. the runoff ph is 5.8-6.2. and 1100ppm does runoff really tell the ph of soil?what should be my next step?thx

Flush that plant with 6.5 water and lots of it. Also there is a problem detecting ph in distilled water due to nothing for ph meter to use to get a reading (spring water doesn’t have this problem)

It’s the low ppm of distilled water that makes it hard to get a decent reading

Yes, you should get some test solution. The 7.0 by General Hydroponics is good for storage too. @Fever is giving you good advice. This early in flower you shouldn’t be hitting them with straight bloom nutes. A little nitrogen is beneficial and may be what is going on - a nitrogen deficiency. Either by ph lockout or lack of nutrients.

@Fever - Do ph meters have the same problem with RO water?

@rasta1 looking at the feeding schedule for earth juice they recommend using the grow formula in addition to the bloom for the first 3 -5 weeks into flowering to provide some nitrogen. That could be part of your issue if you aren’t using the grow formula since the bloom doesn’t provide any nitrogen that could be the cause of your yellowing leafs. Just my opinion.

Not sure.
Maybe?
