Ok, I need some input…… Soil-Hyponex potting soil; Soil in 3 gal pots; Hydroponic- N/A; Coco-N/A pH - 5.8-6.2 runoff. No Nutrients last watering. FF Tiger Bloom 1 tsp, Big Bloom 1 tsp /gal on prior feeding to that one.; EC-N/A; TDS-N/A; Indoor light system. 600 watt Led + 450 watt Led; Temps-76-79 F, RH 38-40. Ventilation- 442 CFM w/carbon filter; I 18 in fan + 6 in clip on fan for a 48 x 48 x 80 Tent.; AC-N/A ; Humidifier cold/heated not being used. Guys, here is a pic of what has just come up on the bud flowers. I checked the runoff, and got a 5.8 pH. I have been dealing with I thought was a phosphorus issue, and my thoughts are that the pH is too low and locking out the phosphorus. Soooo, I flushed the plant, and I cannot get the runoff any higher than 6.2 even if I am flooding the soil with ph water that is 9.0… At this point, for a first grow ever, I am not going to use this same soil again. But could I still get some input please? Thanks ahead for anyone that responds…![]()
When is the last time you calibrated the pen?
I would have to agree with yourself I would definitely go with it to PH issue you should definitely recalibrate your p should definitely recalibrate your pin she’s a pretty girl though my run off is anywhere between 6.3 and 6.8 is a good range for you in medium if you’re wanting to change soil can I recommend promix and you should try the flower power I’ve got better growth with it then I have the Fox Farm I’ve been using for years hope this helps
I did last night, and it was right on…
Thanks for the reply. The next run is going into Promix BX…already got it, waiting for the next run… I’m seeing more evidence of these spots, on just the one plant today. Here is a few pics of the one with the issue, and then
another without…No matter what I tried last night, (I flushed the heck out of the one, hoping to get a pH higher than 6.3, and to no avail. (Still scratching my head.) Thanks again for the advice…It could have been the soil.
