Just took these a few minutes ago. 3 Bruce Banners and two Bubble gums. Just finished 3rd week of flower fertilizer. Looks great to me!
Indeed!
Looks more like 1st week of flower.
Looks good though
My thoughts exactly! This is my 3rd time (3rd year) of growing outdoors.
Sounds like you counting preflower. When the plant first shows pistils shes just showing her sex and that she’s mature. Sometimes she can go 3 to 4 weeks between showing pistils, preflowering and actually flowering. Week one and preflower pictures
That being said the only reason I even keep track of what week of flower is for reference when someone asks me how far along they are. The plant gonna be ready when its ready regardless of what the info on the seeds bio or the breeder says.
Plants are looking very healthy at about 3-4 weeks of flowering. No sign of pests. Should i remove some of the fan leaves to allow light penetration to lower areas of the plant?
I would just let them be.
Outside light is much better diffused than indoor.
Removing leaves will only make the plant grow more of them.
And its pretty spread out so air flow will be good.
I live west of Springfield and its nice to have the grass turn green again.
Morning dew has been an issue. Watch for mold and worms on buds.
I am seeing a lot of worm activity. Tons of grasshoppers too.
I’m East of springfield, MO.
Spiney knows. I also leave the green leaves. There plant is one organism and will take what it needs the best way it can. Indoors where the light is a premium you might need to cut off leaves but outdoors I only remove them if it’s infested with mites or turning yellow.
Anyway it’s looking good and keep an eye out for tiny pests.
Update. The five ladies are looking good. Two bubble gums and 3 Bruce Banners. I’m very pleased they are looking so good. I can definitely smell the difference in the two strains. Not bad for 67 y/o!!
You see the calyxes… the white hairs? You want most of them to die… and the plant to not make any new ones, then shes almost cooked. They look nice and frosty!
