Super Lemon Haze auto: 85 days
Any guess on how much longer to harvest?
First ever grow
Plenty of white pistils. Gonna say 2+ weeks
Looks like you have a few more weeks for sure. Got to be able to look at the trichomes with a jewlers magnifier, or one that takes pictures thru your phone. I bought the one below and it was inexpensive and works great.
@Michoacan welcome to the family my friend happy growing
Welcome to the group ![]()
As said, they definitely have at least a couple weeks left.
I know the information online make it seem autoflowers finsh really fast in a set amount of time, but itâs a lie!
They almost never finish in 75-90days from sprout like lots of information makes it seemđ
All plantâs photo period or autoflowers need to flower for between 8-12 weeks. Sometimes a little longer and every rare once in a while one will finish in less then 8 weeks of flowering but very rarely.
Can you remember or did you take note of when it started flowering?
Super lemon haze (or any haze) is typically a sativa heavy hybrid and sativas typically take longer then indicas so my guess would be 9-10 weeks in flower but thatâs just a guess ![]()
I bought one that looked like the link. I could not steady it enough to get a good picture or inspection.
Thank you for all the info in your reply. Impatience is difficult as first time grow. It is reassuring to have someone confirm a couple of weeks as I suspected. 2 more weeks would put it at 14 weeks. Is it normal for sugar leaves to yellow and dry up?
Thank you!
This is a normal occurance with autoflowers and in combination with organic grows. She is consuming her leaves and putting all her energy into forming buds. When observing trichomes, it is important to do so by looking deep into the buds. The trichâs will mature faster on sugar leaves and give you a premature reading. Patience is the hardest part right now but is âoh so rewardingâ if you can do so. Btw, she really looks beautiful. Great job!

Thank you
Nice looking girl, youâve done a good job
Not much for me to say that hasnât already been said⌠I grow autos and would definitely agree that the sales pitch is just a gimmick regarding how long it takes.
Enjoy the process, itâll be worth it.
Hereâs a Grape Ape auto
Day 82
It is good to see other autos above and beyond the advertised period. I got to stay the course.
I wouldnât say itâs ânormalâ but itâs not uncommon.
Meaning lotâs of peoples plants do this twards the end or in flower and the plant still finishes up and gives some good bud.
But if everything is in line, they want do this all overâŚ
Donât let me add to your worries, you plant isnât dieing and you madecit this far, im confident youâll have a harvest ![]()
Do you use or have a ph and tds meter?
Yup.
The only factor that Iâm aware of that separates Auto from Photo is that auto have a genetic trait that allows them to flower âautomaticallyâ thus the name⌠Aside from that, theyâre just like any other cannabis plantâŚ
Thereâs little stuff that says donât do this or that with autos, but from my experience thatâs pretty irrelevantâŚIâve topped, used last, I defoliate, ECT with no issues.
Just my thoughts tho, do your thing ![]()
Hereâs a couple of auto flowers that sprouted on 10-10 so thats like 15weeks or 105 days as of today.
1 on the left and right, the one in the middle is a photoperiod.
The one on the left is just about done, Iâll chop it one day this week.
The right one, although same strain, planted and sprouted the same day, it is at least a week behind itâs sister, so each plant can be different even if everything else is the same.
Totally agree mostly, with the only exception being with autos, donât top the few 2-3 weeks of sprout and donât top or crop the first 2 weeks of flower.
These times are generally when they can experience very rapid growth and itâs just a good idea not to mess with them dearing that time.
Other then this, thereâs really little to no difference other then the automatic floweringâŚ
Mine sprouted 10/29, they have been in flower for almost 8 weeks. And as @1HappyPappy mentioned they all grow at different rates when all other factors are the same⌠well I have 3 and they are all different!
I am thinking I have a couple weeks left on one and the others are just going to have to waitâŚ. They are behind compared to my one that looks ready. Iâm waiting until the white hairs turn orange and the trichomes are all cloudy, wouldnât mind a couple amber ones. But right now there are still quite a few clear trichomes.
Heres my super lemon haze auto girliesâŚ.
I could not steady it at first also. Then I put it right on the bud and took the pic on the phone. I works great. Or sit in. A chair and use the arm to steady your hand. It worked for me. Good Luck!
Auto are flaky. I have had them ripen weeks apart. Planted same time. Same conditions. I am actually pulling back from auto. The consistency of grow is too far apart. So much mixed breeding. I have some explode. Some stunt etc. Photo is a lot more consistent. I have started using auto as fillers only while photo vegging. Just me. Plus photo have much larger yield. Can hurry them also. Veg less and flip. Will be smaller but as soon a mature can flip. Being photo if issues can fix much much easier. Can veg forever. Can pull CLONES which saves on time/germ and you know exactly how the plant is going to grow. Here are photos of current grow. 2 photo and 2 auto. The difference is very noticable.
Photo
Auto
Tent.
Google âtwisted cookiesâ its and IBL auto or âwinos ogâ, itâs a regular auto.
That breeder has other IBL genetics, not alot of strains to choose from but itâs quality of quantityâŚ
I focus on photos mostly also, pop 1 seed and then grow 5-10 clones from it and stick autos in where I can. Works out pretty good. I get several pounds from each seed that way ![]()
