Hi Team, so my two ladies are looking ok. There has been a real sudden growth in the ‘inner branches’ So I am curious. Is this lady in pre flower? and if so, is triming recommended? and if so, how? Cheers!
Very pretty girl
Put her in a bigger pot and let her do her thing…
She obviously knows whats best for her…
Happy growing !!!
I don’t know much but they are beautiful
I’ll be following your progress. I want to try the strawberry kush next purchase. Good job!
How old are they @BlackDog ? Looking good
Are they photo type
if so they are probably just maturing and won’t start to preflower till you switch to 12/12
If you want to trim I would only trim lower growth right now if top fan leaves are blocking light to lower growth you can just tuck them down but don’t remove them
I usually prune anything that touches soil and once they are about 23 inches or so I’ll prune anything that’s not out of canopy and 8-10 inches and lower
They’re just growing and doing what cannabis does once root growth has been established. The plant will spend its energy on new growth above the medium. This is a great point in the plants life cycle. Great job dude, keep it up!
Hi Team! First let me thank you for your awesome feedback and comments, sorry its taken a bit to get back.
A couple of days ago I switched my light to 12/12, I have since noticed little white “fingers” in most of the inner branches. I think she is now in Pre-flower? She’s standing a healthy 650mm (2.2 Ft) tall at this stage and reaching! She has single fan leaves over 6" long, and bigger than my damn hands
The Fan leaves are so large that they are now a real problem in regards to shadowing lower growth and are getting to strong to bend down @Countryboyjvd1971 I have read you can cut the fingers of the fan leaf in half? Or should they be removed ? Any advice to get the light lower id MUCH appreciated. Thanks Team!
Looks great dude! Good job!
You can remove the lower ones if you feel they are blocking to much light
I won’t recommend cutting them but have heard and seen pics where people have trimmed them down with good results
I try not to remove to much up top 6-8 inches above soil though is my zone I will remove any thing in that range that doesn’t look like it will benefit
Hope this helps @BlackDog
Looking good
Take some gardening string and tie it to the top of the plant and then bend the top down and tie the string just below the middle of the plant… just be gentle when doing this… she will turn into a bush…
Good luck my freind…
That’s good advice @peachfuzz
If you have the room to do it
It will definitely be good for you @BlackDog
Hi Team, so just an update on my two ladies that are now truly in bloom!
So two quick questions: First I notice some buds have long pestles and some buds have none but are very frosty on both flower and leaf. as pics show. I imagine that this is because some are further along than others ? AND if so, is it wise to monitor buds and cut individually as the trips mature and become cloudy?
Thank team! very happy with the grow thus far considering we have been hit with some temperatures below freezing!
